The manual tomato press, also called hand crank tomato press is a machine for the transformation of tomatoes in “passata", or tomato sauce, designed to be used standing on a table after being fixed by means of the screw clamp with which it is equipped.
As this tomato press is not equipped with a motor, the tomato pulp is extracted by hand, thus making this machine mainly suitable for limited hobby uses.
Despite its ease of use, the more affordable price and the smaller space taken up, it is undoubtedly a more difficult model to handle compared to electric models.
