Good morning, Make sure you have fitted the chain correctly, respecting the cutting direction of the links. With the clutch disengaged and the machine switched off, the chain should be able to turn when pushed with a gloved hand. However, keep in mind that if cutting is difficult (you can tell by the amount of energy you need to push), you need to sharpen the links. I do this with a round file of a suitable size to fit into the small blades, maintaining the correct angle and working first in one direction and then the other. Finally, if you speed up the machine with the blade tilted over a sheet of paper, you should see the oil marking the paper. Before putting it away, clean it thoroughly, including removing the blade. It only takes a few minutes, but you will always have a machine in perfect condition. I am very satisfied. If you need anything else, please ask.

You must have fitted the chain backwards. Bear in mind that I bought the chainsaw over a year ago and have never had any problems of this kind. The only minor problem I have encountered is carburetion at high altitudes, as the carburettor fitted does not have adjustment screws.

I also purchased a chainsaw a few months ago. I did experience some difficulty with penetration, but on larger logs, 20-25 cm, which is the maximum cutting limit of the tool, certainly not on branches a couple of centimetres thick. However, I think this is quite normal for a small pruning tool. If anything, you can try to perform a good sharpening by filing down the guide teeth between the cutting teeth, which regulate the cutting blade's penetration. They should be 1-2 mm lower than the upper line of the cutting teeth. If the difference is small, the blade will not descend and will spin idly; if it is too much, it will eat too much wood-fired and jam because there is not enough motor power for cutting.
