Kawasaki Engine

Kawasaki TJ 35 E is a 34.4 cc, 2-stroke, air-cooled horizontal axis engine. This type of engine is particularly renowned for its excellent power to weight ratio, which makes it particularly suitable for heavy-duty and demanding work sessions.

Equipped with a single cylinder, it develops a maximum power of 1.38 CV at 7000 rpm and a torque of 1.55 Nm at 5000 rpm.

It is equipped with a centrifugal clutch and diaphragm carburetor, and it is very easy to operate thanks to the recoil start with self-recovery, the cold-start primer pump and the air regulation system.

It is also equipped with a lightened piston, dynamically balanced flywheel and a patented Kawasaki layered exhaust system.

The engine is lightweight and is compact in size. Its dry weight is 3.2 kg, its dimensions are 17x26x24 cm.

Equipped with 0.7 L tank, the Kawasaki TJ 35 E engine runs on 2% mixture.

The Blue Bird Industries transmission shaft consists of an aluminium tube with a diameter of 27 mm which contains an 8 mm inner shaft made of high-strength steel.

It is equipped with 6 heavy-duty self-lubricating bushings to ensure long durability even in case of heavy-duty and demanding use.

The materials used for both the shaft and inner shaft are of the highest quality and made in Italy.

The crown gear and pinion are made of high-strength steel of the highest quality, extremely suitable for withstanding mechanical strain.

Furthermore, the crown and pinion are entirely designed and moulded in Italy.

Handle and Controls

TJ 35 E M brush cutter is equipped with an ergonomic anti-vibration handlebar with adjustable tilting: just loosen the 4 screws and adjust it by turning it forwards or backwards.

The handlebar is asymmetrical, the left arm is extended and away from the shaft, while the right arm, the one with the control knob, is closer to the shaft. This configuration allows the operator to maintain a correct position of the arms, not off-centre towards the brush cutter, working in total comfort even for several hours.
