Benassi MD 555 R self-propelled petrol wheeled brush cutter

The Benassi MD 555 R self-propelled petrol wheeled brush cutter is a machine of excellent workmanship and quality that guarantees a long and trouble-free service life with little maintenance, thanks to the guarantee of the Italian brand Benassi.

It is powered by a Rato RV 150 engine that, thanks to the high 150 cc, always ensures the required power for every cutting operation. The engine features a power of 2.5 kW.

This product is therefore suitable for cutting operations on overgrown weeds in orchards, vineyards, olive tree groves (especially for the grassing process) or for plant nurseries, green area maintenance operators and managing authorities who can use this tool to clear uncultivated areas. It mustn't be confused with a lawn mower, which is more suitable for lawns and gardens.

It is able to operate on large areas with steep and awkward surfaces, even on fairly steep slopes thanks to the trailing wheels.

Intended for removing huge masses of infesting weeds and unwanted grass of any diameter, height and size, shredding them finely.

Equipped with large traktor wheels that allow it to move even on steep terrain.

Belt-driven blade transmission

It stands out from almost all other machines of its category on the market (with the blade mounted directly on the drive shaft) because of its belt-driven transmission between the engine and blade. It is therefore more protected against accidental bumps and rocks. The blade is assembled on a shaft made of sturdy steel. The drive belt has a friction effect: in case of collision it tends to slip, avoiding most of the inconveniences. The engine is thus always 100% protected.

Therefore, an outstanding advantage consists of the blade engagement/disengagement lever.

This innovating tool allows activating the blade only when necessary. Thus, the Operator can move the machine using the self-propelled drive while the blade remains disengaged. The wheels feature an oil-bath gear drive unit that can keep up with very difficult tasks.
Transmission to the drive unit is possible thanks to a transmission chain.

Steel line head and transmission

The line head is completely made of steel. This sturdy and thick head is durable and does not take damage from heavy shocks. This unit is suitable for several types of weeds and the cutting capacity exceeds that of a heavy-duty brush cutter.

The cutting width is approx. 55 cm!

It has to be used a line of considerable thickness (we suggest 4 mm diameter) so as to easily cut through even tall weeds with very little wear and tear. The replacement of the brush cutter line is very easy and requires only a few seconds.

The chain transmission features an easy functioning and requires only little maintenance.

Transparent protective cover that protects the Operator from objects (for example stones) that could be eventually thrown away by the machine.

Controls and handlebar

The handlebar is adjustable in 2 positions by means the proper screws.
