This Ryobi riding-on mower uses the same technology of standard car batteries. The advantages of this technology are: high autonomy and high power, perfect for this type of riding-on mowers. To maintain this performance, it is necessary to charge the battery when not in use, particularly in cold weather, to prevent the battery from being discharged for long periods. The battery charger is designed to keep the battery fully charged when the riding-on mower during storage. Therefore it is advisable to keep it always connected to the battery charger when not in use.

1- SIDE DISCHARGE: this is the most traditional cutting system which allows cutting the grass without collecting it into the grass collector. For those who have to mow large-sized areas without needing to collect grass, for who doesn’t cut grass too often and has to cut over-grown grass for which the mulching or the grass collection system are no longer efficient.

2- MULCHING: this grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.

Simply close the side discharge with the proper plug to convert the machine from a cutting system to another one.

Intuitive and user-friendly controls. This model is provided with many controls

• Driving control switch that allows selecting 3 different speeds:
  • F: Forward speed
  • N: Neutral
  • R: Reverse speed

• Battery level indicator and speedometer: when the indicator reaches the red light, the motor will automatically switch off until next recharge.

• Blade control button (red button): pull the button to operate the blades; push it to stop them.

• CCS (Cruise Control System) button: Push the button to switch to the Cruise control mode. Press the accelerator to reach the desired speed and hold the speed for about 3 seconds, then stop pressing the pedal and the machine will continue operating autonomously. Press the accelerator or the brake to disengage this mode.

• LED button: it allows switching on the LED lights

• RMO button: it allows operating the blade even while working in reverse mode

• Parking brake

• Accelerator pedal (on the right of the steering wheel)

• Brake pedal (on the left of the steering wheel)

• Cutting height adjustment lever

Sturdy die-cast 2-blade cutting deck: it is a sturdy, high profile cutting deck thought to mow high and thick grass. 96 cm real cutting width.

The mowing blades of the riding-on mower can be set through the controls on the dashboard (red button): then the machine is equipped with an electromagnetic cutting blades engagement.
