Kawasaki TJ 53 E is a 53.2 cc, 2-stroke, air-cooled and horizontal axis engine. This type of engine is particularly renowned for having an excellent power to weight ratio, which makes it particularly suitable for long work sessions.

Equipped with a single cylinder, it develops a max. power of 2.68 CV at 8500 rpm, and a torque of 3.00 Nm at 5000 revolutions per minute.

It has a centrifugal clutch and a diaphragm carburetor, and it is very easy to operate thanks to the recoil start system with self-recovery, the cold-start pump and the air choke system.

It is also equipped with a lightened piston, dynamically balanced flywheel and a patented Kawasaki layered exhaust system.

The weight and the size of the engine are highly reduced, only 4.5 kg dry per 20x29x27 cm.

1- 27 mm diameter aluminium shaft which contains an 8 mm inner shaft made of high-strength steel.

2- Flexible connection tube between the engine and the transmission shaft, which contains a highly-resistant flexible steel cord.

The transmission is equipped with a set of 6 professional self-lubricating bushings to ensure a long service life even under heavy and professional use.

The materials used for the shaft, inner shaft and flexible fitting are of the highest quality and made in Italy.

Focus on the quick release device between the flexible fitting and the pole. It can be easily disassembled in 2 parts for transport and storage.
