Greenbay FML 125 - Tractor-mounted flail mower - Light series

The tractor-mounted horizontal axis flail mower series FML 125 features a light and elastic body and is used for shredding twigs, grass and small shrubs.

Machine for very light work, only on grass or at the very most on small twigs (max. diameter 2 cm). We recommend use with low-power tractors (as specified in the data sheet) and on well levelled and stone-free ground. When used on terrain which is not perfectly levelled and with stones, impacts of the cutting tools with bumps of soil or rocks can damage the machine (as it is a light series).

These hammers are mounted on a sturdy 17 mm diameter hardened steel bolt. (90mm length)

Focus on the cutting hammers, mounted on the rotating roller.

It finely shreds grass and twigs, while simultaneously rolling the turf. Thanks to the high number of rotor revolutions and the number of hammers (hammer flails), it allows reducing the wave impact of the grass cover and performing excellent shredding operations.

The hammers ensures high-quality results in gardens, lawns and urban areas. The flail mower is connected to the 3-point hitch on the rear part of the tractor.

It is possible, by unscrewing the support bolts, to shift the flail mower sideways by 11cm

This allows working close to obstacles without the risk of hitting them with the tractor wheels.

Gearbox in oil bath.. The housing is made of cast iron, while the internal gears are made of hardened steel. Equipped with lubricated extension.

This machine is equipped with a freewheel device (or additional joint) built in the gearbox; this ensures a long service life of all the moving parts of the machine, preventing the kickback that would be caused by changing from 540 rpm to 0 rpm and allowing the rotor to turn freely until it stops.
