GeoTech LFM 105 tractor flail mower

The GeoTech-Pro LFM 105 tractor-mounted flail mower is a horizontal axis flail mower ideal for hobbyist work on farmland and gardens. Its lightweight and elastic structure allows it to precisely shred grass, light prunings and small shrubs. This model is designed to be mounted on low-power tractors due to its low weight of only 151 kg and standard 3-point universal hitch.

The effective working width of 103 cm ensures good performance on small and medium-sized areas. The adjustable rear roller allows the cutting height to be adjusted according to the needs of the soil, improving the uniformity of work. Manual displacement facilitates the alignment of the machine with respect to the tractor's trajectory, optimizing the coverage of the worked area.

The 3-belt transmission ensures high reliability and effective gearbox protection, preventing overloading during heavy use. The included side skids provide additional protection for the frame and make it easier to slide on the ground, keeping the flail mower stable.

Machine for very light work, only on grass or at the very most on small twigs (max. diameter 2 cm). We recommend use with low-power tractors (as specified in the data sheet) and on well levelled and stone-free ground. When used on terrain which is not perfectly levelled and with stones, impacts of the cutting tools with bumps of soil or rocks can damage the machine (as it is a light series).

Side shift and 3 points hitch

Manual side shifting.

It is possible through unscrewing the support bolts to move the mower sideways by 11 cm.

This allows working close to obstacles without the risk of hitting them with the tractor wheels.

Hammer and rotor cutting tools

These hammers are mounted on a sturdy 12 mm diameter hardened steel bolt. (90mm length)

Close-up of the cutting clubs, mounted on the rotor. Thanks to the latter, a good cut is achieved on gardens, lawns and urban areas.

It finely shreds grass and twigs, while simultaneously rolling the turf. Thanks to the high number of rotor revolutions and the number of hammers (hammer flails), it allows reducing the wave impact of the grass cover and performing excellent shredding operations.

Lateral belt drive and gear reducer unit

Gearbox in oil bath.. The housing is made of cast iron, while the internal gears are made of hardened steel. Equipped with lubricated extension.

This machine is equipped with a freewheel device (or additional joint) built in the gearbox; this ensures a long service life of all the moving parts of the machine, preventing the kickback that would be caused by changing from 540 rpm to 0 rpm and allowing the rotor to turn freely until it stops.

The gearbox of this machine can hold no more than 0.5L of oil.
