The Blue Bird petrol post hole borer with Honda engine is a heavy-duty machine suitable for a large variety of works in both construction and agricultural field. This model is equipped with a Honda 4-stroke engine and features the sturdiest cast gearbox on the market with internal gears in high-impact hardened steel in grease bath.

Different types of auger bits available, from 8 cm to 20 cm in diameter, and one auger bit extension for extra drilling depth.

The Honda GX35 is a 35.8 cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine. It is equipped with a single cylinder and is able to develop a max. power of 1.30 Hp at 7000 rpm, and a torque of 1.60 Nm at 5500 revolutions per minute.

The engine is lightweight and is compact in size. Its dry weight is 3.3 Kg, its dimensions are 20x23x23 cm.

Equipped with a 0.63 L fuel tank, the Honda GX35 engine runs on petrol. It is also provided with a 100 ml oil tank, which feeds the unique lubrication system that Honda has developed for these engines.

No more fuel issues and no need to prepare the fuel-oil mix or worry about having fresh mix supplies. Eco-friendly engine: one of the least polluting models on the market.

This aspect is very important when purchasing a post hole borer, as the gearbox is continuously subjected to high stresses and its correct functioning determines the durability and reliability of the entire machine.

The gearbox reduces the engine rpm to a 1:40 ratio by running the auger tip up to 160 rpm

Controls and other features

This earth auger is among the lightest on the market: its weight is around 10 Kg. A very important feature that greatly facilitates the extraction of the auger from the ground.
