Ceccato Olindo SPLE10POLT - Electric log splitter - Adjustable - 400V

The Bull SPLE10-POLT log splitter by Ceccato Olindo is a multipurpose log splitter that allows working in 4 different positions, vertical, two diagonal, and horizontal. It is powered by a 3 HP three-phase electric motor.

Equipped with a pump that guarantees a powerful thrust and two working speeds, a slower and a faster speed.

Equipped with 2 wheels for easy transport made of a special rubber mixture that allows stones not to get stuck and an adjustable end-of-stroke system.

With a thrust of 10 tonnes, it can split logs, even knotty ones, with a maximum diameter of 50 cm.

ATTENTION:

The log splitters in this category are not suitable for working with wood with particularly twisted fibres, such as poplar or pine, with large diameters and, in any case, types of wood with frequent knots. In this case, it is advisable to opt for professional models. In addition, logs should only be split once they have been dried, and not when they are green; when wood is green, it is less likely to split and open up and is therefore less suitable for use with a log splitter. Once dried, however, it can be split and is ready for use in fireplaces, stoves, ovens, etc.

WEDGE: Cutting wedge with 3 inclination towards the column.

ARM CONTROL LEVERS: Shortened levers on the log supporting arms. Thus, their positioning in compliance with the height measures stated in the Directive. Thus, the shape has been specifically selected to prevent the possible fall of the log towards the operator.

HYDRAULIC HOSES: We have increased the tube diameter. This allows a lower oil temperature. Protection and skimming with Ceccato Olindo reinforced sheath and screen-printed with steel studs. In case of damage or burst of the hose, it allows retaining the vaporizing oil without any risk of injury.

HEIGHT of the SPLITTING TABLE: the height of the worktop from the ground has been increased by inserting, in addition to a change in the base, four wheels with a larger diameter, making it sturdier and easier to move.

Each machine model features all the specifications required in accordance with the Directive. Thus, all the use and maintenance instructions are properly upgraded.

The Ceccato log splitter is compliant with the DIN EN 609-1: 2017 Directive.

This log splitter is characterized by the possibility to work in four different positions.

Indeed, it is equipped with an adjustable log tilt system that allows rotation in 4 different positions, allowing you to work vertically, horizontally at 30° and 60° obliquely.

In addition, the multi-configuration wherein the splitter is provided allows to facilitate the machine motion: it is recommended to move the machine in the horizontal or skewed configuration due to the minimal force required.

The motor applied to this log splitter is a three-phase 400 V 3 Hp, 2200 W electric induction motor with a rotation speed of 2840 rpm.

The hydraulic system consists of a hydraulic pump applied directly to the electric motor that supplies oil, drawn from the tank, to the hydraulic cylinder that acts as a log pusher.

The body of the machine structure itself has the function of hydraulic oil tank .

The log splitter is made of thick enamelled steel profiles and is complete with wheels to facilitate movement and front feet for secure positioning on the ground.

The log splitter loading platform is located above the supporting structure and is anchored to it by means of a pin that allows it to be used in the various positions available.

This machine is made keeping in mind all of the industry standards in order to make the operator's work safe.

The log splitter is equipped with a cylinder drive circuit with variable speed.

The two-hand levers for operating the machine must necessarily be operated by the operator using both hands. This is to avoid any kind of injury.

These levers allow the ignition of the machine by pulling them toward you: applying a slight pressure the log splitter cylinder moves the pusher at a remarkable speed maintaining a small pressure capability up to contact with the wood from splitting.

Instead, by pressing down harder on the control handles, the piston slows its speed considerably, increasing the pressure capacity of the splitting wedge by up to 10 tonnes.

The single or double speed are selected simply by pressing with greater or lesser pressure on the control handles. It will be instinctive for the operator, once that the wedge will come into contact with the strain, to press with greater pressure on the handles so that the wedge can channel the power to split the log.

• Adjustment of the piston stroke: to cut short logs and speed up the work it is possible to adjust the stroke by regulating the cylinder by means of the clamping key.
• Piston side guides made of high-density ABS This is a self-lubricating material, with endless durability (it will never require replacement) and most importantly, unlike traditional bronze guides, it does not tend to wear out the aforementioned steel plate where they slide over the years.
• Locking device of the lift wedge with stuck logs. Pressing this upper support the piston’s ascent stops automatically. This makes it possible to operate in total safety, eliminating the danger of injuries to hands and wrists.
