The CastelGarden XD 150 riding-on mower is designed for cutting large quantities of grass, even quite dense, thanks to its 98 cm cutting plate and side discharge system, which dumps the cut grass to the side of the machine.

This riding-on mower is equipped with a side deflector on standard equipment that allows operating with the side discharge, a cutting system thought for large-sized lawns where it isn't necessary to collect the grass clippings after mowing.

The mulching cutting system is optional and can be used by entering the proper mulching plug on the cutting deck (the mulching plug is optional).

The cutting deck features two blades that can be activated by using a simple button, and two non-marking wheels that enhance the machine forward motion on the lawn while while simultaneously not ruining the turf.

The cutting height is adjustable on 7 different positions, from 28 mm to 80 mm.

Equipped with a mechanical gearbox with 5 gears and reverse gear, ideal for medium/large areas without too many obstacles, for quick mowing operations.

The riding-on mower also features a reverse cutting function, which allows to keep the blades working even when the tractor is operated in reverse.

The Castelgarden XD 150 comes with two different cutting systems:

1 - SIDE DISCHARGE (supplied as standard): The riding-on mower cuts the grass which is discharged to the side through the deflector on the cutting deck. The ideal cutting system for mowing tall, overgrown grass.

2- MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM (optional): This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are extremely fine that they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal. Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn, thus ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle.

However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week.
