BullMach BM-LS-PTO 16 V Tractor Log Splitter

The BullMach BM-LS-PTO 16 V tractor log splitter is a vertical unit intended for semi-professional and professional use.

This log splitter model can be either cardan-driven and connected to the tractor PTO, or current-driven, using its three-phase 6 HP electric motor.

Featuring a splitting force of 16 tons, and it allows splitting even knotty wood logs, ranging in size up to a maximum height of 110 cm.

WARNING:

The log splitters of this category are not suitable for working with particularly convoluted wood fiber such as poplar or pine, with large diameters and types of wood, however, with frequent presence of the wood knots. In this case it is advisable to look at professional models. In addition, the strains should be split only once they have been dried, and not in the green state; when the wood is green it has less tendency to split and open and therefore less suitable for use of the log splitter. Once dried instead, it can be split and becomes ready for use in furnaces, stoves, ovens, etc .

Tractor PTO cardan connection

This log splitter can be used by connecting it to the tractor through the universal cardan joint. Max. Power <560 rpm

The tractor connection is guaranteed by means of the three-point hitch located in the machine frame.

The log splitter exploits the action of an hydraulic pump that draws oil from the tank housed at the base of the machine body, of 18.0 L capacity, and moves the hydraulic cylinder which acts as a pushing device.

The body of the machine structure itself has the function of hydraulic oil tank.

This multiplier transfers the torque from the tractor to the hydraulic pump (through the universal joint).

Wedge and piston

Featuring a splitting force of 16 tons, this log splitter model is capable of splitting logs from 8 to 30 cm diameter, and up to 110 cm high.
