The Bosch Professional GFR 18V-23 is a cordless brush cutter designed for those seeking a balance between power and ease of use in gardening. At the centre of the front area is the housing for the 18V battery. There is also a compartment for storing a spare battery.
The 18V lithium-ion battery can be recharged at any time (like modern smartphone batteries, it has no memory effect) to always have it ready for use. It lasts on average 30 times longer than a normal battery. The battery is equipped with a convenient charge indicator.

The drive shaft of the brush cutter has a diameter of 26 mm and is made of aluminium. This makes it very durable while keeping the weight low.

The weight of the machine without batteries is 3.5 kg and 4.1 kg with the battery (4.0 Ah).

The adjustable handle both on the length of the shaft and for inclination makes the brush cutter adaptable to anyone.

The controls are simple and intuitive, as there is only the power button and the operation button.

The Pro-Tap head with EasyWind technology is designed to simplify and speed up line management, always ensuring a smooth and even output during work. Thanks to the facilitated winding system, it is possible to rewind the line directly from the outside, without opening the spool, reducing downtime and making maintenance easier.

The 2.4 mm diameter line offers greater wear resistance and proves ideal for tackling tall grass and tough weeds, while ensuring a clean cut along edges, walls, or obstacles. The round profile helps limit kickback and protects surfaces in case of accidental contact.

The head is integrated with the Bosch anti-tangle function, which reduces the risk of jams caused by tangled grass around the motor shaft, improving work continuity and safety.

The 33 cm cutting diameter ensures wide coverage with each pass, making this system perfect for both finishing and more intensive interventions in medium-sized gardens.
