The BlueBird FM 24-70 remote-controlled flail mower introduces a significant innovation in the field of flail mowers, ideal for cutting tall grass in areas difficult to reach on foot. Perfect also for working in dangerous zones or on rough terrain.
The unique feature is the remote control, which allows you to manage all the machine's functions up to 200 metres away, offering safe and practical control in every situation.
The 68.5 cm cutting disc with two floating blades ensures a precise and uniform cut, while the LED headlights improve visibility in low light conditions, increasing work efficiency in any environment.
The cutting height can be easily adjusted via remote control, starting from a minimum of 30mm up to a maximum of 120mm from the ground.
Its hybrid system combines a powerful 452cc Loncin 1P92F-1 petrol engine, ensuring high performance, with two 24V electric motors and a total output of 1200W (600W each), guaranteeing smooth and constant advancement.
Equipped with robust tracks 15cm wide, the FM 24–70 moves easily on any type of terrain, with excellent climbing capabilities, making it ideal for challenging mowing, tall grass removal, and underbrush cleaning even on slopes, including lateral, up to 30°.
The Blue Bird FM 24-70 combines a petrol engine with a battery-powered electric system, each performing a specific function:
- The petrol engine serves two purposes: it drives the cutting blade and, at the same time, continuously recharges the battery while the machine is operating.
- The battery powers the two electric drive motors that control the tracks. Forward and reverse travel, steering, and even cutting height adjustment are therefore managed entirely through the electric system.
