AMA Amx 26.10 pruning chainsaw

The AMA Amx 26.10 pruning chainsaw is a machine suitable for small pruning treatments, easy to use and efficient.

It is an extremely light and versatile product, suitable for domestic pruning treatments; it is compact and balanced and enables the use with just one hand ensuring a comfortable and precise work.

The Oregon bar allows easy and very accurate cuttings featuring a professional cutting tip with spool to prevent the chain from coming out.

Thanks to a 25 cm cutting bar, the anti-vibrating system and the 25.6 cc air-cooled engine, the chainsaw proves out to be especially handy in each situation.

Main features

The chainsaw is powered by an air-cooled, 1.2 HP two-stroke engine.

It is equipped with an embedded anti-vibrating system to work in total comfort.

Product safety is given by a kickback protection system with instantaneous chain brake. Chain brake activates immediately in case of kickbacks to grant the safety of the product.

The chainsaw is equipped with a saw chain lock to reduce to minimum the risk of sudden detachment of the saw chain.

The additional system for the cool "primer" and "auto choke" start enable an easy start. Moreover, the automatic lubrication system properly lubricates the chainsaw.

The fuel tank capacity is 200 ml and oil tank capacity is 140 ml.

Round file with handle. It is professional and best suited to sharpen the chain's teeth.
Guide for round file, for a good sliding to easily handle the file and obtain an excellent chain sharpening.
Template for sharpening, for the maximum control of the sharpening angle and tooth length.
Flat file with handle, ideal to file the guides of the chain.

The sharpening of the manual chain is the best method since it enables a careful and efficient sharpening. A well sharpened chain produces thin and regular logs, while a bad-shapened chain produces a lot of sawing and irregular cuts. Durng the sharpening process the chain can be left on the tool or removed and blocked. The blade has to be fixed (for example with a vise) to have both hands free during the sharpening operation on ech tooth.
Proceed one tooth after the other. The result will be excellent since it can be controlled step after step. This prolongs the lifetime of the chain and ensures a less consumption of the teeth.
Teeth are sharpened with light and regular taps at about 30 degrees with respect to the blade. Each tooth with the same number of taps. Each second tooth has to be sharpened starting from right and the ones in the centre starting from left.
