Alpina AS 62 P Petrol Snow Blower

Alpina AS 62 P snow blower is ideal for snow up to 50 cm in height and suitable for hard surfaces and solid terrain.
The use is simple, fast, effective and immediate, with a convenient and powerful light to illuminate the work area.

The electric start of the snow blower is possible using the home current, allowing the machine to be switched on even at very cold temperatures. It is not equipped with a battery as the low temperatures at which it is usually operated would damage it in a very short time. Batteries, in fact, do not withstand sudden changes in temperature.

Snow Hog tires give it a firm grip on the ground, while two reversible skid shoes allow you to work on various types of surfaces, such as soft gravel ones (without causing damage).

The ALPINA AS 62 P also features:

WARNING

This type of winterized engines do not feature the air filter because working at low temperatures the snow could leave humidity that would then freeze, damaging the filter and tampering the machine operation.

The side skid shoes
make this snow blower suitable for all types of terrain, more or less even, without causing damage.

The snow blower auger is heavy-duty, with a steel spiral and toothed edge.
This makes the snow blower effective even on hard snow.

Two-stage

The snow is efficiently channelled inside the machine through the auger, it is then ejected away through the discharge chute with a high-speed internal centrifugal fan.

The safety bolts protect the gear reducer. They are in fact specifically designed to fail when the blade gets stuck against some stone or obstacle.

Adjustable chute through the control panel

The discharge chute is adjustable through the controls on the control panel and the worm screw at the base of the same panel.

The deflector, the snow ejection distance regulator, can be managed through a lever on the control panel.

The chute is also equipped with a safety grid.

Controls and adjustments

The control panel is really user-friendly.

Gear lever: 5 forward gears, 2 reverse gears.

Lever on the top of the right handle: activates and deactivates the operation, (whatever the speed selected on the automatic transmission, forward or reverse). By releasing this lever, the machine stops instantly, for safety reasons.

Lever at the top of the left handle: activates and deactivates both the auger and the high-speed fan (activates and deactivates both simultaneously).
