Description

Agricultural subsoiler for tractor light series 170 - 7 elements

The AgriEuro Top Line Series 170 7-element subsoiler is a particularly robust agricultural machine designed to be hitched to the tractor by a three-point hitch.

Once hooked up, it allows the soil to be subsoiled or scarified, an operation that allows the compact layers of soil to be broken up without turning the earth, unlike traditional ploughing. This tilling takes place at varying depths, facilitating the preparation of the soil without altering its surface structure.

Although often used in conjunction with a rotary tiller, subsoiling has a different approach, as it does not change the soil layout, but breaks up clods, improving soil structure. This makes it ideal for maintaining the agronomic quality of the soil.

The advantages of subsoiling include several benefits for soil efficiency and health:

  • reduction in tillage time by up to 50% compared to using a rotary tiller;
  • conservation of organic matter and microorganisms beneficial to soil fertility;
  • increased space available for the expansion of plant roots;
  • improvement of drainage by limiting water stagnation;
  • increased permeability and aeration of the soil, promoting healthy crops;
  • absence of the tillage sole common in ploughing, improving soil structure in the long run.

In conclusion, subsoiling is an efficient solution for optimising tillage time and improving soil conditions, preserving soil structure and promoting more sustainable cultivation.

Subsoiling

The driving force required for a subsoiler is generally less than that required for a plough. This makes it possible to operate on an area almost twice as large as the one that can be tilled with a tiller.

This agricultural subsoiler reaches a working depth of 25-30 cm, depending on the power of the tractor to which it is attached. It is attached to the tractor's three-point hitch and is operated by the hydraulic lift.

The ripper function is particularly effective with compact, dry soil, allowing it to be broken up effectively. Indeed, thanks to its action, the soil will be loosened on the surface and marked by a series of small furrows.

The tillage from the bottom up creates a certain amount of macro-porosity and crumbling in the soil, thus causing little or no change in the profile of the layers. In not very compact soils, the operation is in any case effective in breaking up clamps and improving water drainage.

This product consists of a sturdy supporting frame and 7 elements (or tines), shaped and inclined forward to facilitate effective soil penetration due to the tractor's rapid forward movement.

Main features

The agricultural subsoiler is made with robust shanks that guarantee strength and durability even in the most demanding operations.

These stems are cleverly arranged on a tubular frame structured on two bars, which provides stability and robustness during use, ensuring optimal performance over time.

This subsoiler will be delivered complete with:

  • Pairs of adjustable iron wheels designed to allow precise control of the working depth, improving efficiency in the field.

The working width of this agricultural tool is 170 cm, with five elements to reach a working depth of 25 to 30 cm, making it ideal for tillage operations and preparing the soil for sowing.
