The Worx Landroid Vision is equipped with an integrated camera that allows it to "see" the surrounding environment and work efficiently during lawn mowing.

CUTTING FEATURES

RFID Tags

Vision is designed to move on continuous grassy areas. It will leave the area only if you indicate it: insert the RFID tag, and it will always know where to go. Place the two RFID tags on two different lawns separated by a path or passage and as soon as the robot touches the tag, it will automatically move to the area indicated by the other tag. (Up to 3 areas can be set)

If necessary, additional accessories can be purchased separately such as "2 RFID tag kit"

WARNING: the maximum distance between the two RFID Tags can be a maximum of 6m.

1 - An Internet connection is required: The robot learns every day and is constantly evolving.
The Internet connection will allow Vision to update in the weeks and months to come. Examples of upcoming improvements: Improved cutting paths, Improved edge cutting, overcoming narrow passages, etc…

2 - Boundary Identification: In certain situations, to ensure proper product operation, installation may require the use of many meters of magnetic strip, requiring significant installation time and an additional cost for the customer. In some cases, therefore, it may be advisable to purchase a Landroid with a perimeter wire. Example cases:

• Unfenced property lawn adjoining neighbours' land
• Terraced or steep slopes, ditches, ponds, etc.

NB: natural/artificial elements can help delimit these areas (e.g., pavements, stones, mulch, etc.)

3 - Tall grass and uncut edges: remember that, like any robot, Vision must be installed on an already maintained lawn. The maximum recommended grass height is 10cm during the robot's installation.

If the lawn borders areas of very tall grass/weeds, Vision may not detect the garden boundary and therefore it will be necessary to delimit these areas with the magnetic strip or another element that helps Vision identify the perimeter (e.g., pavements, stones, pebbles, mulch, etc.)

4 – Fences: The robot can detect a fence if it is less than 20cm from the ground. Otherwise, it will be necessary to delimit the boundary with OFF LIMITS magnetic strip or any other obstacle that helps Vision identify the perimeter (e.g., pavements, stones, pebbles, mulch, etc.)

5 - Minimum distance allowed between obstacles: the minimum distance required to ensure Vision's passage between two obstacles is 1m. Japanese steps and walkway slabs: depending on their size and distance between them, it may be necessary to use RFID terminals to allow the robot to transit from one side to the other.

6 - Multi-zone Management with RFID

To move between 2 cutting areas using RFID terminals, the 2 cutting areas must have a minimum of 3m of parallel perimeter between them. The maximum allowed distance between the two cutting areas is 6m.
