The wired food probe is a temperature probe designed for precise monitoring of cooking on barbecues compatible with the Weber Connect® system. Its compact design, featuring a thin stainless steel tip, allows you to monitor the internal temperature without compromising the texture of delicate foods.
This probe is ideal for cooking fish, shellfish, burgers, chicken wings and thin cuts, where a large tip could damage the surface or release juices during measurement.
The Weber food probe works by detecting the internal temperature of the food via the ultra-thin metal tip. The data is transmitted to the Weber Connect® barbecue or the connected Smart Hub. Via a dedicated app, you can monitor cooking from your smartphone, receive notifications when it is time to turn or serve the food, and track temperatures in real time.
The main technical features of the short ultra-thin wired food probe are:
- Ultra-thin stainless steel tip: the small diameter minimises the hole made when inserting it into food. Useful for delicate dishes such as fish and seafood.
- Compact probe length: the approximately 2.5-inch sensor is suitable for burgers, chicken wings and thin cuts. It improves the internal positioning of the tip.
- Heat-resistant braided cable: the metal sheath protects the connection during grilling and barbecuing. The construction maintains flexibility and durability over time.
- Weber Connect® compatibility: direct connection to the Smart Hub allows remote control via the Weber Connect® app. Useful for indirect or prolonged cooking.
- Rapid temperature reading: the sensor provides constant readings throughout all stages of cooking, helping achieve with greater precision the desired level of doneness.
- Weather-resistant : stainless steel withstands temperatures up to 300 °C. Suitable for outdoor use on barbecues and grids.
