Snapper H1528ES petrol snow blower

The Snapper H1528ES is a two-stage petrol snow blower.

Compact and versatile, it features high power thanks to its 306 cc single-cylinder petrol engine and a manual gearbox, equipped with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears.

Equipped with a milling cutter that allows a working width of up to 71 cm and a height of 58 cm, the toothed auger features a 30 cm diameter.

The tyres supplied are Snow Track type featuring a notching designed specifically for operating on the snow.

The Snapper H1528ES is also equipped with:

6+2 mechanical gearbox

The new transmission enhanced by Easy turn technology for automatic release of the differential lock makes it extremely manoeuvrable.

Briggs & Stratton 1450 Snow Series engine

The Snapper H1528ES snow blower is equipped with the Briggs & Stratton 1450 Snow Series 306 cc engine. This is a 'winterised' engine type, i.e. designed to perform even in low temperatures, ensuring ignition down to -29 degrees.

WARNING

Winterised engines such as this one are not provided with air filter because working at low temperatures and with snow could create moisture that would then freeze, ruining the filter and creating problems for the operation of the machine.

The engine is PROVIDED WITHOUT OIL.
Please carefully read the instructions manual before starting the unit.

Auger housing: 71 x 58 cm

The auger housing is 71 cm width and 58 cm height.

The adjustable side skids allow this snow thrower to work on all types of terrain, from smooth to uneven ones without scratching them.

The skids are height adjustable to avoid any scraping of the steel on the floors.

The material used to make these slides is high-density polyethylene and they are reversible to increase their service life.

The milling cutter is a heavy-duty type equipped with a steel spiral and toothed edge.
This makes the snow blower effective even on the hardest snow.

Two-stage system

The snow is efficiently conveyed into the machine by means the auger, and then thrown away through the discharging chute by means an internal high-speed centrifugal fan.

2 shear pins for protecting the equipment in case of shocks are placed on the horizontal shaft of the serrated milling cutter.

The movement and synchronisation of the 2 stages is ensured by a bevel gear made of cast iron, a material particularly resistant to shocks and wear. There is also a grease nipple for easy routine maintenance.

Adjustable chute through the control panel on dashboard

The snow discharge chute can be swivelled via the controls on the dashboard without effort, as the chute is equipped with electric motors.

The chute is also equipped with a grid that prevents foreign objects to enter into it.

Controls and adjustments

All the controls for operating the snow thrower are placed on the dashboard.

The Free Hand system allows changing the forward speed on the move, while keeping the plough running.

The Easy Turn system allows you to turn left and right by pulling the relevant trigger located under the two handles.

Discharge chute deflector direction: it can be adjusted via the control on the dashboard.

The control panel is user-friendly, complete and intuitive.

Gear lever: 6 forward gears and a 2 reverse gears

Lever on top of the right handle: enables and disables the forward and reverse gears (whatever speed is selected on the gearbox). Releasing this lever stops the machine instantly, for safety reasons.

Lever on top of the left handle: enables and disables both the auger and the high-speed fan (enables and disables both stages simultaneously).
