The Rover Colombo 6 plate-and-filter sheet pump is designed for filtering liquids using interchangeable filter sheets mounted on a professional plate assembly. The new version features an impeller positioned in the opposite direction to the previous model, with a different internal configuration of the pumping system.
The filter comprises 7 high-quality PVC plates and allows the use of various types of filter sheets, enabling different filtration results depending on the material used.
The filter unit is quick to assemble and allows for the immediate replacement of filter sheets. The design also minimises liquid leakage during replacement operations.
The Rover Colombo 6 can also be used without a filter, as a standard transfer pump. The system can hold up to 6 filter sheets, but can also operate with fewer elements installed by simply removing the unnecessary plates.
With fewer filter sheets fitted, filtration quality remains unchanged. Only the volume of liquid filtered per hour varies. For example, with 4 filter sheets fitted to 5 plates, the hourly capacity decreases by approximately 30% compared with the full configuration.
The Rover Colombo 6 filter pump therefore allows the filtration capacity to be adapted to operational requirements, while retaining the option to choose different types of filter sheets.
