Rover Colombo 18 Inox - Plate and Sheet Filters - Stainless Steel Frame - Wine Pump

This plate and sheet filter for wine comes with a 100% stainless steel structure, which guarantees a long service life and high levels of hygiene, especially suitable for intensive use.

This machine is intended for PROFESSIONAL APPLICATIONS.

The greatest innovation of this wine filtering pump is the reversed impeller. This is a heavy-duty filter that features 19 filter plates made of top-quality PVC.

The assembly is fast and easy, the replacement of the filter sheets is immediate; most importantly, liquid leakage that can occur during filtering operations has been drastically reduced.

Suitable for filtering any food liquid, mainly wine. When detached from the filter, the filtering pump can also be used as a common transfer pump.

It can house up to 18 filter sheets. It is also possible to mount various types of filter sheets to obtain different types of productions.

The pump can also operate with fewer than the 18 filter sheets for which it is designed For example, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8 or only 6 can be mounted. Simply slide off the chosen plates. The filtering quality remains the same, only the amount filtered per hour will decrease.

For example, if only 10 plates (i.e. 9 filter sheets) are used, the hourly production of filtered litres will be equal to half. But in some cases this can allow to save money in the use of filter sheets.

Pump body made in corrosion-resistant alloy with NOVAX technology: this is a state-of-the-art pump made of alloy and treated trough a chemical process that makes it antioxidant; this technology called Novax is an exclusive patent of the manufacturer, Rover Pompe.

The pump is "self-priming", designed specifically for the operation of this wine filter.

The Colombo 18 INOX wine filtering pump mounts an electric induction motor which guarantees a long service life.

This motor is capable of delivering a power of 0.5 Hp

The COLOMBO® FILTER consists of a special electric pump and a filtering system called liquid system with pressed layers.

It does not require any special maintenance other than normal cleaning.
