The Marina Systems Biomulch 51 SL petrol lawn mower is a specialised solution for maintaining grassed surfaces using the mulching technique.

This model is ideal when rapid mowing is required on surfaces of up to 1500 m² without grass collection. The system finely shreds the grass clippings, which are deposited directly onto the ground.

Alternatively, the side deflector can be installed to switch to a different cutting system.

The product is aimed at hobby users and maintenance professionals who require a 52 cm blade mounted on a 1.8 mm thick steel housing.

The machine operates via a mechanical action powered by a 159 cc Loncin 1P65FE engine that develops a rated power of approximately 5.5 HP.

The body features a metallic grey finish with black and red details, characterised by a functional and compact design to facilitate storage.

This lawn mower offers five cutting height adjustments, ranging from a minimum of 25 mm to a maximum of 70 mm.

Adjustment is carried out using three levers: one for each of the front wheels and one for the rear wheels.

WHAT IS MULCHING: a cutting system that allows the grass clippings to be shredded and then released onto the lawn, pulverised so small that they appear almost as if they have been collected. This eliminates the problem of disposing of the clippings, reducing effort and drastically cutting down the time taken for mowing. The grass decomposes and turns into nutrients for the lawn itself and into water (grass is 80% water), thus ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is important to remember that, to ensure the system’s absolute efficiency, the lawn should still be watered, and the grass should be mowed at least once a week.

CONVERSION FOR SIDE DISCHARGE:
Simply unscrew the side cap and insert the side deflector to activate the side discharge system.

Effective cutting width of blade: 52 cm

The blade is made of universal hardened steel, suitable for high-quality mulching. Its special fins create airflow circulation, which helps to shred the freshly cut grass clippings even more finely. It also performs excellently on tall, damp grass.

Double cutting power
Thanks to its unique profile featuring two fins in the centre, it enables:

- excellent mulching, creating an airflow circulation that pushes the grass fragments back onto the blade’s cutting edge before flinging them upwards, resulting in very fine shredding (similar to a centrifugal effect)

- a high-quality cut, thanks to the hardness of the steel used and the special, truly superior sharpening.

The housing is made entirely of steel to ensure high strength and long-lasting durability.

Adjustment of the lawn mower handle’s height and angle: this is achieved via an extremely precise and sturdy system.

All the controls are located on the lawn mower’s dashboard, where you’ll find the cutting blade engagement switch, the drive control and the forward speed adjustment.

Throttle lever

The LAWN MOWER is designed and intended exclusively for mowing grass in gardens (and not on other types of terrain), characterised by smooth level surfaces, without stones or other solid objects, and grass maintained as a “lawn” (i.e. no wild or unmaintained grass), which should be cut regularly, ensuring it does not grow beyond 25–30 cm (as most lawn mowers are unable to cut grass taller than this). Also avoid slopes steeper than 15% (≈9°), except for 4x4 models.

Please also note that grass should only be cut when both the lawn and the ground beneath are completely dry. Mow the grass only in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or watering, and preferably in the afternoon when it is not saturated with morning moisture. Wet grass tends to bend under the weight of the cutting blades, reducing cutting efficiency, increasing the risk of clogging in the cutting deck and placing excessive strain on the engine.
