Italian Power RG1.7-45/600 Garden Tiller

The Italian Power RG1.7-45/600 garden tiller is a performing machine suitable for less demanding work. Particularly recommended for tilling the soil of small orchards, gardens and greenhouses. Thanks to its lightness and the transport wheel, this garden tiller model can be easily transported.

The machine is powered by a Rato engine 150 cc, which delivers up to 2.5 kW of power. The high performance combined with the its ease of use make this garden tiller model suitable to be used by anyone, even less experienced users. Equipped with worm gear in oil bath and belt drive

In addition, since the garden tiller features a single speed, it turns out to be particularly easy to use to prepare the seedbed by breaking up the top crust, making the finely crushed and well aerated soil soft and ready for cultivation.

Engine oil and transmission oil are provided on standard equipment.

60 cm tine and worm drive

The garden tiller mounts a Rato engine and is equipped with 25 cm diameter tines with a working width of up to 60 cm and 23 cm of depth. Easy handling thanks to the height-adjustable ergonomic steering handles where the controls are located. It features a 25 mm diameter axle where the tines are attached.

The working width can be adjusted at 40 cm, by simply removing one row of hoes on each side. It features a worm drive in oil bath, which is protected by a sturdy housing.

Thus, the front wheel facilitate the forward motion of the machine also thanks to its weight of only 35 Kg.

Additional features

The front wheel can be raised to ease the transport. The dissasembly and fixing operations can be carried out easily. It is highly recommended to remove the front wheel during the working operations (tilling treatments) and reassemble it for eventual relocation.

The steering handles, where all the main controls of the garden tiller are located, are adjustable in 3 different positions:

  • Higher position
  • Medium position
  • Lower position

All the user-friendly controls are located on the steering handles:

  • Clutch lever: it operates the forward motion of the tine and the machine.
  • Throttle lever
