This hydraulic fruit press of the PEW line features a membrane that expands with water and is ideal for pressing grapes, apples and fruit in general, to obtain musts, juices, cider and much more in a fast and easy way.
Unlike pneumatic fruit presses, hydraulic presses exploit water pressure. The membrane expands when filled with water and presses the shredded fruit against the sides of the cage, extracting all the juices.
All materials used are suitable for food processing in accordance with applicable European directives.
The pressure unit is protected by a safety valve set at 3.0 bar (the inlet water pressure should not exceed 3 bars; in the event of higher pressure, use a reducer to regulate the water pressure).
The cage, as well as all the internal components of the machine, is in stainless steel, while the lid and the base are made of sturdy and durable aluminium.
It does not require particular maintenance: wash thoroughly with water after each use and store it in a room not exposed to sunlight.
