Greenbay FMM-H 175 medium-sized Hydraulic Side Shift Tractor Flail Mower

The FMM-H 175 hydraulic side shift tractor flail mower is a machine suitable for cutting and shredding vegetation, such as trees, shrubs and grass. The distinctive feature of this machine is its hydraulic side shift system, which allows to move laterally the tractor flail mower for a precise and efficient work.

The tractor flail mower with hydraulic side shift is composed by a strong and sturdy frame, on which is installed a cutting system consisting of sharp blades, which rotate at high speed to cut vegetation. The hydraulic side shift system is integrated in the frame and allows the machine to be moved sideways precisely, thanks to a system of hydraulic pistons that control the movement of the machine.

Cutting tools: hammer flails

These hammers are mounted on a sturdy 18 mm diameter hardened steel bolt. (85mm length)

Focus on the cutting hammers, mounted on the rotating roller.

It finely shreds grass and twigs, while simultaneously rolling the turf. Thanks to the high number of rotor revolutions and the number of hammers (hammer flails), it allows reducing the wave impact of the grass cover and performing excellent shredding operations.

Side belt transmission and gearbox

Gearbox in oil bath.. The housing is made of cast iron, while the internal gears are made of hardened steel. Equipped with lubricated extension.

This machine is equipped with a freewheel device (or additional joint) built in the gearbox; this ensures a long service life of all the moving parts of the machine, preventing the kickback that would be caused by changing from 540 rpm to 0 rpm and allowing the rotor to turn freely until it stops.
