The engine is winterized, which means that it is equipped with a special cover in order to protect the most breakable component parts subject to cold weather and to protect the engine in case of sudden drop in temperatures. Therefore, the engine is adapted for work in low temperatures. Winterized engines like this one aren't provided with air filter as, working in environments with low temperatures and snow, this last can create humidity that could freeze damaging the air filter and causing problems to the machine.
Focus on the black primer pump for an easy start.

Read the instructions manual carefully before using.
