The petrol lawn tractor GeoTech PRO PRTM 180-1080 H-SM is a robust and versatile model, designed for those who need precise and fast cutting on large surfaces.

Equipped with a Loncin 452cc engine with 17 horsepower, it offers enough power to tackle even more challenging terrains, ensuring excellent performance in any usage condition. The hydrostatic transmission system allows easy speed adjustment without the need to change gears, making driving more comfortable and adaptable to the needs of the moment.

The dual-blade cutting deck of 108 cm, with the possibility to adjust the cutting height in 6 positions from 30 to 90 mm, allows for optimal results, both in high and low grass conditions. The centralised cutting height with manual adjustment offers easy customisation to suit different types of lawns.

Two different cutting modes:

1. Side discharge cutting which allows efficient management of grass clippings without the need to collect them, making the work faster and less tiring.
2. Mulching cut thanks to the cap provided, simply mount it on the blade

The integrated LED lights ensure visibility during work operations even in low light conditions, while the presence of a sturdy cutting deck ensures maximum stability and resistance on rough terrains. The lead-acid battery provides power for electric start, facilitating the use of the tractor.

The more correct term would be “Commercial” Power, meaning the classic standard of power definition officially used until a few years ago by all the most renowned engine manufacturers.

1 - SIDE DISCHARGE (standard): the most traditional, the tractor cuts by discharging the grass laterally onto the lawn.

Simply mount the side deflector and tighten the two specific screws.

Recommended system for: large areas of land, for those who do not need to collect, for those who do not cut frequently and find themselves having to cut excessively grown grass, for which the collection system or mulching is no longer effective.

2 - MULCHING (standard):

cutting system that shreds the cut grass leaving it on the lawn, pulverising it to the point that it will almost seem as if it has been collected. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing effort and drastically shortening the time spent cutting) and furthermore, as it decomposes, it will subsequently turn into a nutrient for the lawn itself and into water (grass is made up of 80% water) thus ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is useful to remember that, to ensure the absolute efficiency of the system, the lawn must still be irrigated, and the grass cut very often. The conversion from one system to the other is very easy.

Conversion: remove the side deflector and attach the mulching plug using the appropriate hooks.

Thanks to the pedal-operated hydrostatic transmission, driving the tractor will be easy and intuitive. Everything can be controlled simply with the right foot resting on the pedal.

The operation is very simple: to move forward, just press the pedal with the toe. The tractor will advance based on the pressure applied. To engage reverse, just press the other end of the pedal with the heel.

As soon as the pedal is released, the machine stops and allows you to operate in complete safety.

Robust gears make the transmission difficult to break.

The hydrostatic transmission is by nature decidedly more modern and functional (although more expensive) than the traditional manual gear transmission. The latter, whenever the speed needs to be changed, forces the operator to stop, change gear (because all tractors with manual or mechanical transmission require that the gear change takes place from a standstill), release the clutch and restart at the desired speed.

Certainly, if the speed had to be changed several times (for example in all those gardens where there are trees, pots or any other kind of obstacle), the traditional gear transmission would be decidedly impractical. The hydrostatic transmission instead allows immediate speed variations, without ever stopping, in the most absolute practicality, in a completely automatic way, simply by varying the pressure on the pedal that operates this transmission.

The tractor comes standard with two universal blades.

The cutting height is adjustable, via the appropriate lever, in 6 different sizes between 30 and 90 mm.

The blade engagement is electromagnetic and is controlled via the yellow button to the right of the steering wheel. This system avoids manual engagement via the classic lever found on many types of tractors, and works thanks to an electromagnetic clutch that allows for easy and quick blade engagement.

Very simple and intuitive controls and adjustments.

After starting the engine, from the driver's seat it is indeed possible to modify the cutting height of the tractor, activate the blades even in reverse, increase the engine speed, engage the parking brake, engage reverse or turn on the front lights, all visible on the innovative screen.

The ride-on lawn mower is designed and intended exclusively for cutting grass in gardens and parks (and not on other types of terrain). The working surface must be level, free of irregularities, stones, or other solid objects, and covered with maintained lawn grass (not uncultivated or spontaneous vegetation). Grass should be cut regularly and must not be allowed to grow beyond 25–30 cm, as most ride-on mowers are no longer capable of cutting at this height. Slopes exceeding 15% (equivalent to 9°) must be avoided, except when using 4x4 models.

Grass must only be cut when both the lawn and the underlying soil are completely dry. Mowing operations should be carried out exclusively in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon, when the grass is no longer affected by morning humidity. Wet grass tends to bend under the blades, reducing cutting efficiency, increasing the risk of clogging inside the deck, and subjecting both the engine and the transmission belt to excessive strain, which may result in damage.
