The GTRB120 flail mower for quad is a powerful and versatile petrol engine. Tow-behind design for quads or tractor mowers.

This model is powered by a centrally-positioned engine that enhances the balance and stability during the machine use.

The wheels can assume several positions to always have the right shape for the transport and the machine operation.

In fact, they can go beyond and can "hide" behind the machine shape so as to take up small size.

You can open the rear small door to ease the cleaning of the machine and the maintenance/replacement of the cutting tools.

These machine are the perfect solution for those who do not own a tractor and require a powerful and reliable crusher mower.

This solid flail mower can be used to crush small shoots, grass and small shrubs.

Equipped with a side tow hook so you can connect it both to quads and to ride on mowers.

Correct use

RIGHT REGULATION OF THE WORKING HEIGHT (7 - 8 cm high)

There are several heights of the rear towing hook of quad. Therefore, the quad has to be located at a sufficiently from the ground lifted position so as to absolutely avoid that hammers touch the ground.

The excat working height of the hammers is minimum 7-8 cm.

WARNING: in case of frequent impact of the hammers on the ground, this can cause the excessive wear of the side transmission belts or even their overheating or combustion with damages to the belts and the product itself.

We suggest to pay attention to this circumstances of "excessive effort on behalf of the product" since the noise of the excessive load produced by the machine could sometimes not be acknowledged by the operator seated on the quad due to the high noise produced by the quad itself.

FORWARD SPEED:

A common mistake made by the operators is the speed during use, since the quad can indeed induce this mistake given its possibility to proceed with high speed.

The petrol flail mower for quad has to be used at the same speed as the flail mowers for tractors or the smaller petrol ones activated manually by the operator.

Speed: from 1 km/h up to max 4 km/h

In case of especially tall grass we highly recommend not to exceed 1 / 1.5 km/h.

In case of low and frequently cut grass, you can also reach 4 km/h.

WARNING: this flail mower is equipped with a centrifugal clutch on the side that keeps the hammer rotor stationary (in neutral) when the engine is started at low revs (idling condition), and a belt drive to the rotor with 2 belts. During use, towing this mower at a speed higher than that indicated above will result in overloading and overheating of the clutch and also excessive wear of the side drive belts, with the risk in the worst cases that the clutch, if burned, may even cause the adjacent belts or other parts of the product to burn.

These hammers are mounted on a solid hardened steel bolt with a diameter of 12 mm.

This machine finely shreds grass and vine shoots, while simultaneously rolling the turf. Thanks to the high rotor speed and the large number of hammers (blades), it reduces the wave pattern of the turf and performs excellent shredding.

Rear Roller and Cutting Height

Height-adjustable rear support roller comes as standard.

The cutting height can be adjusted using special levers that raise and lower the wheels and, consequently, the cutting roller:
