GeoTech EA520 EVO 2-stroke Post Hole Borer

The Geotech EA520 EVO post hole borer is intended for a large variety of works, in both the construction and the agricultural field. Earth augers are a great and effortless solution to plant fruit trees, make fence bases or bore fence posts, stack concrete poles in the vineyard and for many other applications.

Among the main features of this earth auger, the most remarkable one is the very high power/weight ratio. Powered by a 2-stroke fuel-oil mix engine with 51.7 cc of cubic capacity , it is capable of reaching a power of 1.4 kW (1.8 Hp) and features a cast gearbox with gears lubricated in grease bath.

Different types of auger bits available, from 10 cm to 20 cm in diameter, and one auger bit extension for extra drilling depth.

Transmission

The GeoTech EA520 EVO post hole borer mounts a large sturdy cast gearbox with internal gears in high-impact hardened steel lubricated in grease bath.

This aspect is very important when purchasing a post hole borer, as the gearbox component is continuously subjected to high stresses and its correct functioning determines the durability and reliability of the entire machine.

The gearbox reduces the engine rpm to a 1:40 ratio by running the auger tip up to 160 rpm
