The removable grinding unit, once the knob on the side of the machine has been unscrewed, will allow you to remove the whole auger unit (worm screw), the blade and the die plate.
The feeder tube that brings the meat from the funnel to this unit will however remain attached to the machine body and will need to be cleaned separately, unlike other machines that have a removable body.
