Description

Docma Cutmac BSF315 Circular Saw Bench - 230V

The Docma Cutmac BSF315 - 230V Circular Saw Bench is a refined technological choice and a structurally sound solution, carefully developed to optimise and simplify the log cutting process, without compromising structural integrity.

The entire construction, made of enamelled steel, ensures strength and durability, complying with high quality and resistance standards, and underlines a constant commitment to material and construction excellence.

The Cutmac BSF315 model, thanks to its remarkable effectiveness and efficiency in cutting wood, promotes practical and minimally burdensome use for the user. The mobility and handling of the device are further enhanced by the integration of wheels, facilitating the management and transport of the unit.

From an energy point of view, the device, powered by a 2200W electric engine, maintains considerable power and performance in its operating sector, ensuring smooth and flawless operation.

In terms of safety, the user experience is prioritized, implementing a blade protection guard specially designed to prevent accidental cuts to the operator, thus ensuring risk-free and safe use.

Functionally, the saw bench uses a hardened steel disc blade 315mm in diameter and 24 teeth, being skilled in handling logs with a maximum cutting capacity of 120 mm and adapting to materials of varying lengths between 440 and 990 mm.

Emphasizing compliance with applicable safety regulations in wood cutting operations, the log cutter has been carefully designed, emphasizing both sound engineering and meticulous reflection on aspects of operational safety.

The structure, entirely in enamelled steel, not only shows a strong orientation towards considerable durability, but also stands out for its practical transportability, made possible by the integrated wheels.

In conclusion, the Cutmac BSF315 is configured as an optimal balance between usability and operational efficiency, proving to be a valuable ally for those users who need to process logs with efficiency and practicality, while reducing the related physical effort.

Electric Engine

High-efficiency Electric Engine: 230 V

The machine is equipped with an electric engine, known for its superior quality and longevity, operating at a voltage of 230V. This component has been selected and integrated with the aim of delivering constant and sustained power, ensuring stable and uniform operation through all operating stages. Opting for an electric engine translates its operation into environmentally friendly operation and generally lower maintenance compared to combustion counterparts, while ensuring a quiet and environmentally friendly operating experience.

Solid and reliable Power: 2200 W

Equipped with an energy of 2200 watts, the unit is able to effectively handle processes that encounter materials of consistent resistance. This power gauge facilitates a sharp and precise cut, attenuating the chances of tears and ensuring results that stand out for cleanliness and professionalism. The operations, which range from the cutting of full-bodied logs to finer processes, are carried out with remarkable skill, optimising operating time intervals and guaranteeing a high degree of satisfaction for professionals and for DIY enthusiasts.

Operational Start and Stop Button: Combining Security and Functionality

Safety and ease of use occupy a central position. The configuration of the on/off button has been taken care of to be intuitive and, at the same time, to maximize the safety of the operator during each work phase. The accessibility and clear indication of the status of the switch facilitate rapid intervention, allowing the equipment to be activated and deactivated safely and immediately. The switch is also designed to prevent unintentional starting, providing additional safeguard when using the equipment.

  • High power 2200W dedicated to ensure clear and accurate cuts.
  • Electric engine: Operational stability, less maintenance and attention to the environment.
  • Safety: On-off mechanisms designed to maximize safety.

With this equipment, you get the certainty of a job done to perfection, professional results and a careful consideration for safety and quality in all its aspects.

Recommendations for Use - Log Saws

Recommendations for use

To ensure the maximum service life and efficiency of the machine, the following instructions must be strictly observed. Failure to comply with them constitutes improper use, carrying a serious risk of damage to the product (this type of damage is not covered by the warranty).

  • Intended use of materials: The machine is designed exclusively for cutting logs. It is strictly forbidden to feed any other type of object or material into the cutting system. In particular, the following material must never be cut, including but not limited to:
  1. Contaminated wood: logs with excessive amounts of soil, stones or foreign metal objects (nails, screws, staples, barbed wire or remnants of fencing).
  2. Building materials: timber planks soiled with concrete, bricks, plasterboard or composite panels.
  3. Synthetic and metal materials: plastic pipes (PVC, PE), metal profiles, light alloys or electrical cables.
  4. Inert materials: rocks, glass, ceramics or mineral materials.

Impact with unsuitable materials could deform the blade, damage the flange/shaft and cause vibrations that damage bearings and supports.

  • Suitability of extension leads: Avoid using unsuitable extension leads. Given the  high motor power, it is essential to ensure a constant power supply. Undersized cabling causes voltage drops that prevent the motor from reaching the correct speed, leading to abnormal overheating and permanent damage to electrical components. Use only cables with a minimum cross-section of 2.5 mm². This requirement is essential to correctly manage the high current absorption, particularly during start-up and during cutting operations under load, thereby preventing voltage drops and motor overheating.
  • Log dimensions: do not exceed the maximum capacities. Do no cut logs larger than Ø 170 mm or outside the 300–1000 mm range length to prevent motor overloading.
  • Load stability: the section of log or branch must be positioned so that the grain is perpendicular to the cutting disc.
  • Never use the machine to cut more than one log or branch at a time: Stacking multiple pieces can cause sudden, uncontrolled movements of the material against the cutting disc, resulting in a risk of deformation or breakage of the disc.
  • Cutting feed and motor load: Do not force the log through the cut to the point where the blade’s rotation slows significantly or stops. Stalling or prolonged operation under excessive load causes high absorption and abnormal overheating, posing a risk of permanent damage to the motor and electrical components (e.g. starting capacitor).
  • Mains voltage stability: Do not connect the machine to electrical circuits where other heavy loads are operating simultaneously (e.g. air compressors, welding machines or air conditioners). Continuous voltage fluctuations can burn out the capacitor or the internal components of the electric motor.
  • Cleaning the ventilation openings: Ensure that the motor’s ventilation grilles are always free from accumulations of sawdust or dust. A restricted air flow prevents heat dissipation, leading to deterioration of the windings’ insulation.
