Rover Colombo 12 - Plate-and-Sheet Filter - Bronze Pump

The Rover Colombo 12 plate-and-sheet filter pump is designed to filter wine and other food-grade liquids, as well as to carry out decanting operations. The filter unit accommodates up to 12 sheets measuring 20 × 20 cm and achieves a flow rate of between 350 and 500 L/h.

During the operating cycle, the bronze pump draws in the liquid and conveys it through the filter sheets installed between the plates. The different layers retain impurities according to the filtration rating of the selected sheets. The Rover Colombo 12 filter pump can also operate with fewer than 12 filter sheets, by removing any plates that are not required. In this configuration, the hourly output decreases in proportion to the number of layers used. By separating the pump from the filter unit, the machine can also be used for transfer only.

The Rover Colombo 12 uses a plate filtration system designed to accommodate up to 12 filter sheets measuring 20 × 20 cm.

The liquid is conveyed by the pump through the various filter sheets, which progressively retain impurities. The filtration flow rate ranges from 350 to 500 litres per hour, depending on the type of filter sheet installed and its filtration rating.

It is possible to use the machine with fewer filter sheets by removing the unnecessary plates. In this way, the degree of filtration remains determined by the chosen cartridge, while the volume of liquid that can be filtered per unit of time decreases proportionally.

This configuration allows the system to be adapted both to the type of liquid to be treated and to the quantity to be filtered, using only the number of filter sheets required for the process.
