This plate and sheet filter for wine comes with a 100% stainless steel structure, which guarantees a long service life and high levels of hygiene, especially suitable for intensive use.

This machine is intended for PROFESSIONAL APPLICATIONS.

The greatest innovation of this wine filtering pump is the reversed impeller.

This heavy-duty wine filter model features 13 top-quality filter plates made of PVC.

The assembly is fast and easy, the replacement of the filter sheets is immediate; most importantly, liquid leakage that can occur during filtering operations has been drastically reduced. Suitable for filtering any food liquid, mainly wine.

When detached from the filter, the filtering pump can also be used as a common transfer pump.

It can house up to 12 filter sheets. It is also possible to mount various types of filter sheets to obtain different types of productions. The pump can also operate with fewer than the 18 filter sheets for which it is designed. For example, 10, 8 or 6 can be mounted: simply slide the chosen plates off. The filtering quality remains the same, only the amount filtered per hour will decrease.

For example, if only 7 plates (i.e. 6 filter sheets) are used, the hourly production of filtered litres will be equal to half. But in some cases this can allow to save money in the use of filter sheets.

ADVANTAGES OF THE NEW PUMP WITH REVERSED IMPELLER SYSTEM

• working pressure up to 2.5 bar (instead of 2.0 bar of the previous model)
• higher head lift (increased by 1.5 meters)

Pump body made in corrosion-resistant alloy with NOVAX technology: this is a state-of-the-art pump made of alloy and treated trough a chemical process that makes it antioxidant; this technology called Novax is an exclusive patent of the manufacturer, Rover Pompe.

The pump is "self-priming", designed specifically for the operation of this wine filter.

The Colombo 12 INOX wine filtering pump mounts an electric induction motor which guarantees a long service life.

This motor is capable of delivering a power of 0.5 Hp

The COLOMBO® FILTER consists of a special electric pump and a filtering system called liquid system with pressed layers.

This particular type of filters allows to obtain excellent levels of drinks purification without altering the fundamental characteristics of the filtered liquid. For this reason, it is mainly used for domestic filtering operations, but also for professional applications, such as in wine cellars, pharmaceutical factories, laboratories, breweries, and wherever it is necessary to filter a drink in order to serve or bottle it perfectly clear, without any trace of residue.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE CUSTOMER: The COLOMBO® FILTER has been designed specifically for filtering beverages, for which all the materials used are perfectly compatible with liquid foods. Particularly suitable for filtering wine, water, infusions, beers, pharmaceutical solutions, perfumes.

It does not require any special maintenance other than normal cleaning.
