DAL DEGAN VOLKAN 300L Tractor-mounted Mist Blower

Dal Degan VOLKAN 300L mist blower is ideal for small and medium orchards and vineyards. The polyethylene tank consists of two parts, the main one with a filter and a lid and a small tank with a tap for handwashing.

Its main feature is the spray cloud.

Large 700 mm fan diameter.

External fan conveyor, rear plate and frame made of enamelled steel. Adjustable nylon fans ensure excellent weather resistance.

The size of the fan is the most important element of a mist blower, as it determines:

the power of the air jet (the greater the fan diameter, the greater the amount of air it produces, the greater the ability of the machine to carry out the treatment at greater heights or distances)
the fineness of the atomisation (the greater the power and quantity of the air, the greater the mini-particles of liquid will be disaggregated)
working at lower tractor engine speeds (to achieve the same performance as a fan with a smaller diameter)

Nebulisation

The mist blower’s expulsion volute, which produces a large quantity of air, concentrates the jet towards the nozzle placed at the end of the diffuser.

The faster and larger the fans are, the better the atomisation result will be and the less the product will be dispersed in the air.

The air flow is so concentrated that together with the large flow, it is able to nebulise the water into fog, to make it uniformly cover the plant without loss of product.

The propeller with 8 blades is adjustable in seven positions, from 20 to 45°.

10 double nozzles with brass anti-drip unit (5 on the right, 5 on the left)

Stainless steel nozzle holders are divided into two parts, a left one with 5 jet nozzles and a right one with the other 5 jet nozzles.

Each brass jet nozzle with anti-drip features 3 positions, which can be changed by simply rotating the nozzle manually on its axis (three clicks, one for each position):

nozzle with larger hole (higher liquid delivery)
central position = closed jet
nozzle with smaller hole (lower liquid delivery)

Comet APS 51 Tractor-mounted pump

Comet APS 51 aluminium pump is used for spraying treatments in medium and large crops.

The parts directly touching the liquid are made of anodized aluminium, resistant to corrosion. Three-membrane configuration. Interior manifolds. The valve has a stainless steel seat and plate.

COMET Control Unit

The two side valves feed the right and left sectors of the fan, respectively.

Control lever for opening or closing the control unit.

This means that you can also activate the two sectors separately, e.g. activate only the jets on the right side or only on the left side (e.g. when you are working on the edge of your field).
