Ceccato BULL SPL16R4H - Petrol Log Splitter - Vertical - Honda GX200

The BULL SPL16R4H log splitter by Ceccato Olindo is a machine made in Italy, designed for professional use.

It is built with a large cast steel knife that slides along a bushing guide protecting the frame and piston even during maximum effort.

Extremely sturdy frame, built to withstand high splitting force.

It allows splitting knotty wood logs ranging in size from a minimum of 18 cm to a maximum of 50 cm height.

It is equipped with additional drive controls mounted in the upper part of the machine, allowing even very large logs to be split.

It is powered by a 6.5 HP Honda GX200 engine.

The solid base is fitted with 4 wheels to ensure an easy transport; these are made of a special rubber mixture that prevents stones from getting stuck.

WEDGE: Cutting wedge with 3 inclination towards the column.

SUPPORT BASE: the thickness of the base plate is 55 mm, also favouring the stability of the machine.

STROKE: the cutting wedge at the stroke end features a residual distance of 100 mm from the supporting plate.

UPPER CONTROL LEVERS: the levers have been shortened as to comply with the Directive.

LOWER CONTROL ARM LEVERS: Shortened levers on the log supporting arms. Thus, their positioning in compliance with the height measures stated in the Directive. Thus, the shape has been specifically selected to prevent the possible fall of the log towards the operator.

HYDRAULIC HOSES: We have increased the tube diameter. This allows a lower oil temperature. Protection and skimming with Ceccato Olindo reinforced sheath and screen-printed with steel studs. In case of damage or burst of the hose, it allows retaining the vaporizing oil without any risk of injury.

LOG LIFTING: installation of the log lifting device synchronised with the movement of the cutting wedge.

Each machine model features all the specifications required in accordance with the Directive. Thus, all the use and maintenance instructions are properly upgraded.

The Ceccato log splitter is compliant with the DIN EN 609-1: 2017 Directive.

The Honda “GX” series is highly professional and has been developed for heavy-duty work in construction, agriculture, generators, welders, and many others, characterised by great durability and reliability.

The log splitter utilises the action of a high-performance double hydraulic pump operating at a pressure of 180 bar (max) capable of pumping up to 24 L/min and supplying oil, drawn from the tank, to the hydraulic cylinder acting as a log pusher. The body of the machine structure itself has the function of hydraulic oil tank.

With a thrust of no less than 16 tons, this log splitter is capable of splitting knotty logs of varying sizes up to a maximum height of 50 cm.

This is due to the exceptionally strong and large piston cylinder with a maximum diameter of 60 cm.

The piston is guided by skids along a steel guide, which even under maximum strain safeguards the cylinder, which is supported by side guides made of high-density ABS with replaceable contact shims made of bronze.

The guides are made of high-strength wear-resistant material and, thanks to their brass sliding thickness, they preserve the steel plate on the main body of the log splitter.

The wedge of the log splitter is made of cast and pressed steel with very high strength.

Piston stroke adjustment: to cut short logs and speed up work, the working stroke of the piston can be adjusted.

The log splitter is equipped with a cylinder drive circuit with variable speed.

The single or double speed are simply selected by pressing with greater or lesser pressure on the control handles. It will be instinctive for the operator, once that the wedge will come into contact with the strain, to press with greater pressure on the handles so that the wedge can hold all the power in order to execute the splitting.

The two-hand levers for operating the machine must necessarily be operated by the operator using both hands. This is to avoid any kind of accident.

By applying slight pressure, the log splitter makes the pusher cylinder move at a considerable speed while maintaining a small pressure capacity until contact is made with the wood to be split.

Instead, by pressing down harder on the control handles, the piston slows its speed considerably, increasing the pressure capacity of the splitting wedge by up to 16 tonnes.

The log splitter is made of thick enamelled steel profiles that make up a very strong frame.

Indeed, unlike most log splitters on the market, which have frames made from 'H' beams, the frame of the Ceccato log splitter is made from a framed structure, and it is reinforced with the front flat plate where the splitting wedge slides.

This sliding plate is made of very high-strength hardened steel, the steel of which is even harder than that used for the frame structure.

The result is a sturdy frame and support structure that is practically indestructible.

The log splitter is complete with wheels for easy motion and is excellently balanced: transport can be performed using the handle for tilting the log splitter and the transport wheels, which are an impressive 25 cm diameter.

With a splitting force of 16 tonnes, this Ceccato log splitter is capable of splitting logs of varying sizes up to a maximum of 50 cm in height and 60 cm in diameter.

In special situations it can also be lifted by means of the specific lifting point.
