The Castelgarden XHT 240 4WD Petrol Lawn Tractor is a robust and efficient model, designed to offer optimal performance on large surfaces.

Manual adjustment with a lever for cutting height, thanks to a single lever it is possible to adjust the cutting height in 9 different positions, from a minimum of 25mm to a maximum of 100mm.

The bag emptying system is very simple: it is done through a very effective system, leveraging the removable handle. This way, you can empty the bag at the desired point without any effort.

The bag can be removed in an instant: just lift it upwards to remove it from its "bridge" housing.

2- MULCHING (standard):

A cutting system that shreds the cut grass, leaving it on the lawn, pulverizing it to the point that it almost seems collected. This eliminates the problem of disposal (reducing effort and drastically shortening the time spent cutting) and also, as it decomposes, it will later turn into a nutrient for the lawn itself and into water (grass is made up of 80% water), thus ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is useful to remember that, to ensure the absolute efficiency of the system, the lawn must still be irrigated, and the grass cut very often. Switching from one system to another is very easy.

3- Rear Discharge (not included, available separately as an accessory)

Thanks to the new hydrostatic transmission with 2 pedals, driving the XHT 240 4WD tractor will be easy and intuitive. Everything can be controlled simply with the right foot resting on the pedal.

The operation is very simple: to move forward, just press the pedal with the tip of your foot. The tractor will move forward based on the pressure applied. To engage reverse, just press the other end of the pedal with your heel.

Robust gears make the transmission difficult to break.

The hydrostatic transmission is by nature much more modern and functional (although more expensive) than the traditional manual gear transmission. The latter, whenever the speed needs to be changed, forces the operator to stop, change gear (because all tractors with manual or mechanical transmission require the gear change to be done from a standstill), release the clutch, and start again at the desired speed. Certainly, if the speed needs to be changed multiple times (for example, in all those gardens where there are trees, pots, or any other kind of obstacle), the traditional gear transmission would be decidedly impractical. The hydrostatic transmission, on the other hand, allows immediate speed changes, without ever stopping, in the utmost practicality, fully automatically, simply by varying the pressure on the pedal of this transmission.

The deck of the lawn tractor is floating: it easily adapts to the undulations of the terrain (as long as they are not excessively harsh). Moreover, this model is equipped with a wide protection that completely surrounds the deck.

The blade engagement is electromagnetic and is controlled via the red button to the right of the steering wheel. This system avoids manual engagement via the classic lever found on many types of tractors and works thanks to an electromagnetic clutch that allows quick blade engagement. Nothing could be easier than pressing a button.

The cutting deck height adjustment is done via a lever.

The available cutting positions are 9 and can be varied from a maximum of 100 mm to a minimum of 25 mm.

Using the lever located to the right of the seat, it is possible to raise or lower the cutting deck, to facilitate the movement of the machine.

The ride-on lawn mower is designed and intended exclusively for cutting grass in gardens and parks (and not on other types of terrain). The working surface must be level, free of irregularities, stones, or other solid objects, and covered with maintained lawn grass (not uncultivated or spontaneous vegetation). Grass should be cut regularly and must not be allowed to grow beyond 25–30 cm, as most ride-on mowers are no longer capable of cutting at this height. Slopes exceeding 15% (equivalent to 9°) must be avoided, except when using 4x4 models.

Grass must only be cut when both the lawn and the underlying soil are completely dry. Mowing operations should be carried out exclusively in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon, when the grass is no longer affected by morning humidity. Wet grass tends to bend under the blades, reducing cutting efficiency, increasing the risk of clogging inside the deck, and subjecting both the engine and the transmission belt to excessive strain, which may result in damage.
