Description

BullMach AMBRA 13800 E Power Generator

The BullMach AMBRA 13800 E single-phase electric generator stands out for its efficiency and user-friendliness. Equipped with a copper alternator winding, this unit is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 10000 Watts, guaranteeing optimum energy performance.

Its compact design, combined with intuitive controls, facilitates its use and makes it easily movable in response to different operational needs. The control panel, housed on a robust stainless steel plate, ensures durability and simplified function management.

Powered by a four-stroke petrol engine with a displacement of 500 cc, capable of delivering a rated power of 18 HP.

The key-operated electric ignition system simplifies starting, while the capacious 23-litre fuel tank allows extended use without the need for frequent refuelling. This unit not only offers high performance but also complies with the European EURO 5 standard, ensuring a reduced environmental impact.

Mobility is one of the strengths of the BullMach AMBRA 13800 E, as it is equipped with folding handles and two large wheels, it can be transported with ease to meet energy needs in various contexts. The 45° inclined rubber mounts minimise vibration, thus improving both the comfort of use and the longevity of the device. The presence of the AVR card, which automatically adjusts the output voltage according to the load, ensures a constant and secure power supply, proving essential for applications requiring greater energy stability.

WARNING: All power generators like this one, belonging to one of the lower product levels of the PROFESSIONAL (reference to the product level rating scale used on this site) must not work for sessions longer than 3–4 hours continuously, in order not to compromise in the medium to long term durability of the alternator and other components due to overheating or wear. The same problem would present itself if these products were to be used daily or at least frequently. In all these cases, we recommend opting for generators classified as least as PROFESSIONAL, as listed on the rating scale on this website.

Alternator and Power Output

The genset alternator is constructed with copper windings.

Maximum power rating* in LTP emergency service: 10 KW

* in an emergency, the generator can deliver this amount of power

Power rating* in continuous variable duty PRP: 9 KW

* This is the data that must be taken into account as an actual and constant data in the generator’s output (it guarantees it unlimited hours)

The BullMach power generator is equipped with AVR board: an electronic device that automatically adjusts the output voltage, making it constant as the load changes

In addition, it is equipped with strong rubber grommets that secure the alternator to the frame.

Engine Technical Features

Engine specifications:

  • Model: PT194F
  • Type: 4 stroke, single cylinder,
  • Cylinder capacity: 500 cc
  • Fuel: petrol
  • Tank: 23 litres
  • Activation: Electric with key

Focus on the engine air filter

Nominal Power: 18 HP
The correct term would be "Commercial” Power, meaning the standard definition used until a few years ago by all well-known engine manufacturers.

* This figure is the one that is most widely used and publicised in the main sales channels, even if it is higher than the real power of the engine.

Actual power: 16 Hp
It refers to the real power of the engine. This is the power indicated as official in the engine instructions manual.

* this is a figure that can vary for the same engine model depending on the rpm the equipment manufacturer has decided to have the applied engine deliver

Control Panel

The control panel of the BullMach power generator is comprehensive and feature-rich.

  • 5in1 Digital display where it will be possible to view:
    • Voltage
    • Amperage
    • Frequency
    • Power
    • Ignition time
  • Electric start with key
  • This generator is also equipped with a battery charger suitable for charging all 12-volt batteries. ATTENTION: This is not a 12-volt power supply system for operating 12-volt equipment. We reiterate that it is a very normal charger.
  • 16 A Shuko power socket
  • 32 A CEE socket (this must absolutely be used for the full power of the generator, i.e. with high power consumption and spikes above 3.5KW, e.g. large blenders, electric pumps, compressors, suitable welders, etc.).
  • Ac Breaker
  • Oil warning light
  • Plug switches
  • Earthing system
  • Possibility of connection with ATS switchboard

How To Select The Correct Power Rating Of The Generator

As far as the needed power is concerned, we now provide you with a handy chart to help you navigate among consumption, starting coefficients and watt.

The best criterion is to pinpoint first which are the instruments we need to power with the generator and, consequently, perform a simple calculation, as explained below, to identify the needed power that the generator need to eject.

Power required = Electric appliance consumption X Breakaway starting coefficient

The starting coefficient is a fundamental characteristic of any instrument which works with electric current because it indicates how much the consumption of the object increases. Therefore, this is needed to concretely determine how many WATTS are necessary during the start-up operations.

Example: Compressor (1500 Watt) X Starting coefficient (2) = 3000 Watt, hence you should orientate towards a generator which has a WATT power equal or superior to the result (*)

Check the consumption of the appliance on the instructions and maintenance manual or on the plate attached to the machine.

WARNING: the chart is purely indicative. Thanks to the formula above, you can easily calculate the power a generator should deliver to connect and start some specific products and select the model of generator which best suits your needs.

Electric Generators – Warnings & Range Of Application

  • The generator must only be used to power individual pieces of electrical equipment (within the limits of its power output in KW, in relation to the in-rush absorption of this equipment, which must be less than the power output of the generator);

  • The generator can be used to supply power to domestic systems in the event of emergency (lack of power supply service from one's own electricity supplier in the household), only in versions specifically equipped with the ATS automatic start-up device (specially made for this purpose and equipped with the systems for connection to the domestic meter)

  • The generator was NOT designed for PROFESSIONAL use, and is therefore only suitable for occasional (non-frequent) use. Operating sessions must not exceed 3-4 continuous hours (which would lead to overheating or wear of the alternator, particularly its stator and rotor components). If a generator is needed for frequent use (e.g. one use per week), the user will have to look for another type of generator, specifically designed for frequent use, and more precisely a PROFESSIONAL or even better an INDUSTRIAL level generator (equipped not with a standard 3000 RPM alternator like this one, but with a professional alternator at low rpm: 1500 rpm. - equipped with both liquid-cooled engine and alternator - having a very different level of specifications and price);

The generator is not designed to be installed in photovoltaic or solar panel systems for energy production, nor for recharging or maintenance of batteries of these specific or other electric systems. This use can seriously damage the generator on its internal components (alternator, engine and electrical component). All photovoltaic systems require a generator for INDUSTRIAL use (and not for domestic use like the present model), specifically designed and manufactured for this purpose. WE DO NOT PROVIDE WARRANTY on generators connected to photovoltaic systems, as this entails an IMPROPER USE OF THE UNIT.
