The Blackstone BM-CD 120 medium-series flail mower with hydraulic side shift is an agricultural machine designed to cut and work medium-sized greenery, i.e. grass, straw or crop residues. Equipped with a sophisticated hydraulic shift, this system makes allows precise positioning adjustments in relation to the tractor, allowing perfect adaptability to various working conditions. Thanks to this feature, the flail mower can be positioned to the right or left of the towing vehicle, allowing a considerable expansion of the working width or the ability to adapt to specific ground conditions.

The operator can perform efficient and precise cutting along field edges or in confined spaces, minimising the need for additional steps or manual intervention. Furthermore, the use of a hydraulic system simplifies adjustment operations and delivers extremely precise control of flail mower positioning.

This model offers the possibility of installing an inter-row disc, which can be easily fitted thanks to the special support supplied as standard.

The Blackstone BM-CD 120 flail mower is equipped with hydraulic shift.

The three-point hitch slides on two sturdy tubes, both 117 cm long.

Focus on the piston that controls the hydraulic shift (32 cm) of this flail mower. This allows the position of the cutting unit to be adjusted and moved laterally compared to the machine frame. This feature allows the cutting unit to be aligned with the vegetation to be cut and to work efficiently even under the most demanding shredding conditions.

This flail mower has been designed to support an inter-row disc (available separately on the site), which can be attached to the machine by means of a practical bracket (supplied).

Gearbox in oil bath.. The housing is made of cast iron, while the internal gears are made of hardened steel.

This machine is equipped with a freewheel device (or additional joint) built in the gearbox; this ensures a long service life of all the moving parts of the machine, preventing the kickback that would be caused by changing from 540 rpm to 0 rpm and allowing the rotor to turn freely until it stops.

These hammers are fixed to a rotor inside the machine.

It finely shreds grass and twigs, while simultaneously rolling the turf. Thanks to the high number of rotor revolutions and the number of hammers (hammer flails), it allows reducing the wave impact of the grass cover and performing excellent shredding operations.
