Benassi BL105H - 5.5 HP petrol tiller - Honda GX160 engine

The Benassi BL105H petrol and diesel garden tiller is designed for intensive agricultural work in vegetable gardens, orchards and small plots of land.

It is fitted with a 163 cc Honda GX160 petrol engine with overhead camshaft (OHV), designed to offer reliability and low fuel consumption. The recoil starter with recoil starter ensures ignition even in difficult environmental conditions.

This Benassi BL105H petrol tiller adopts a mechanical transmission with gears in oil bath, a sturdy solution suitable for continuous use. The mechanical gearbox with 2 forward gears plus 1 reverse gear allows the operator to adapt the speed to the type of terrain.

The tiller has a working width of 90 cm and is composed of 6 tines + side discs, mounted on a 27 mm hexagonal shaft, which guarantees stability and hold under stress.

The independent rear PTO transmits rotation at the same speed as the engine, allowing compatible attachments to be connected. The handlebars are height-adjustable and laterally adjustable to adapt to the operator's stature or to work close to rows or edges.

The 78 kg weight favours penetration into even the hardest soil, improving traction and reducing fatigue.

The painted sheet metal tiller guard prevents soil and debris from splashing in during use. Every detail is designed to increase durability and safety during agricultural work.

Here are the main features that distinguish the BL105H rotary tiller:

• Honda GX160 engine: single cylinder 4-stroke OHV with air cooling, guarantees constant performance even under stress. Power and torque adapted to the width of the tiller.
• 2+1 gearbox: offers two forward speeds and one reverse speed. The operator can adapt the speed according to the type of soil and depth required.
• Oil bath gear drive: increases the durability of the system compared to chain or belt drives. Reduces the risk of wear during intensive use.
• Independent power take-off: enables the use of compatible implements requiring direct mechanical power. It is connected directly to the drive shaft.
• 78 kg solid frame: allows greater penetration into compact ground. The metal frame and tiller protected by a painted cover increase safety.

Effective power: 4.8 HP (at 3600 rpm)
Corresponds to the real power expressed at the crankshaft. It is the one indicated as official in the manual or in the engine manufacturer's technical data.

* It is a figure that may vary for the same engine model depending on the speed of rotation that the equipment manufacturer has decided to have the engine applied.

The presence of 2 forward gears allows the operator to carry out more efficient milling. In fact, this will facilitate penetration in the hardest soils by increasing control over the machine.

While the presence of 1 reverse gear will facilitate moving and manoeuvring.

The long gear lever allows the operator to select gears conveniently from just under the handlebar.

Maximum rotational speed of the tiller:

• 1 gear: 97 rpm
• 2nd gear: 140 rpm
• Reverse: 35 rpm

The direct (oil-bath) gear transmission on the drive shaft requires very low maintenance and provides maximum resistance to stress when working in harsh terrain.

A gear drive is much more solid and reliable than a belt drive, because the components are already all in contact with each other and as soon as one moves, all the others move too and the motion from engine to tiller is immediate.

The transmission box is made of cast iron, the best material for such a part.

Tiller: 90 cm, with 3+3 cutters of 4 hoes each + protective side discs.

It can be narrowed with a short 2 + 2 operation.

Hexagonal hoe shaft diameter 27 mm.

Conversion from one tiller width to the other is done in a few moments, simply insert or remove the outermost element and store the protective disc.
