AgriEuro SIE 15 Tons Electric Vertical Log Splitter - 1000 mm Piston Stroke

The AgriEuro SIE 15T is a vertical log splitter for domestic use.

Powered by a 3 HP single-phase electric motor which generates a 15 ton splitting force so it can break knotty logs of different sizes up to max. 112 cm in height.

This log splitter allows splitting the logs up to the ground. Equipped with a safety arch and automatic adjustable piston limit switch control system and all the safety devices for protecting the Operator during use.

These AgriEuro log splitters are entirely manufactured in Italy.

This log plitter wis powered by a 230 V (3 HP, 2.2 kW) single-phase motor so it can be operated using the normal domestic mains electricity supply.

The machine is equipped with a high-performing double hydraulic pump that supplies oil (drawn from the tank) to the hydraulic pushing cylinder.

The frame of the machine structure itself acts as the hydraulic oil tank.

The advantage of the double pump is that it allows the piston to double, or more, its speed, compared to normal single phase 3 Hp log splitters equipped with a single pump.

Furthermore, the double pump allows you to halve the operating time and increases the productivity of the log splitter.

With a 15 ton splitting force, this log splitter can break knotty logs of different sizes, up to a max. of 112 cm height, thanks to its exceptionally sturdy and large 1000 mm piston cylinder with an 90 mm outer diameter and 50 mm internal diameter.

Adjustable piston stroke: when splitting short logs, you can speed the operations as the piston stroke can be adjusted by means of a tightening screw.

The log splitter is equipped with a built-in variable speed cylinder drive circuit.

The control levers for operating the machine must necessarily be operated by the Operator using both hands, for avoiding any kind of injury.

When light pressure is applied, the log splitter makes the pushing cylinder move quickly until it comes into contact with the log.

By applying more pressure on the control handles, the piston considerably slows down its speed and increases the wedge splitting force of up to 10 tons.

Single or double speed can be selected by simply pressing down on the control handles with more or less pressure. Once the wedge will contact the log, the Operator will automatically know how much pressure to apply on the handles so that the wedge concentrates all the power of the log splitter for splitting the log.

Wedge lift locking device: pressing this upper support automatically stops the piston from rising. This allows you to safely use the log splitter, avoiding the risk of injury to hands and wrists.

To use an electric log splitter correctly, you must follow the instructions in the manual and always operate within the limits specified by the manufacturer. Using the machine correctly ensures smoother operation and reduces the strain on the machine.

Before starting operation, it is important to assess the characteristics of the wood. Knotty, twisted, irregular logs or logs with interlocked grain may be more difficult to split and require greater splitting force. The species of wood, moisture content and degree of seasoning can also affect the log’s resistance.

The dimensions of the logs must fall within the minimum and maximum values specified by the manufacturer. The log with a maximum diameter represents a dimensional limit, but the actual splitting capacity also depends on the shape and condition of the wood. If the splitting wedge encounters excessive resistance, it is advisable to stop the operation and reposition the log, avoiding subjecting the machine to prolonged strain.

The log must be positioned securely and correctly centred on the support surface. The wood fibres should be aligned as closely as possible with the splitting direction. Avoid splitting logs that are positioned crosswise, at an angle or unstably, as these may shift during the splitting cycle.

Process only one log at a time. Do not stack multiple logs or use other pieces of wood to compensate for an uneven support surface. The work area must also be kept clear of debris and obstacles that could interfere with the operator or the movement of the machine.

The log splitter must be used exclusively for splitting logs and pieces of wood that are compatible with the machine’s specifications. It must not be used to process stones, metals, building materials or other unsuitable items.

Before starting the log splitter, check that the machine, safety devices and power cable are in good condition. During operation, keep hands and other parts of the body well clear of the splitting wedge, the piston and areas where crushing may occur. It is also recommended that suitable protective equipment be worn, such as gloves, safety footwear and eye protection.

Before carrying out any cleaning, inspection or maintenance, the log splitter must be switched off and disconnected from the mains supply. Regular checks and adherence to the manufacturer’s instructions help to keep the machine efficient and safe over time.
