Kawasaki Engine

Kawasaki TJ 45 E is a 45.4 cc, 2-stroke, air-cooled horizontal axis engine. This type of engine is particularly renowned for its excellent power to weight ratio, which makes it particularly suitable for heavy-duty and demanding work sessions.

Equipped with a single cylinder, it develops a maximum power of 1.90 CV at 7500 rpm and a torque of 2.18 Nm at 5000 rpm.

It features a centrifugal clutch and a diaphragm carburettor, it is very easy to start thanks to the recoil start system with self-recovery, the cold-start pump and the air adjustment system.

It is also equipped with a lightened piston, dynamically balanced flywheel and a patented Kawasaki layered exhaust system.

The weight and size of the engine are really reduced, only 3.9 kg dry per 19x26x26 cm³.

The cutting tool features a 0.9 L fuel tank and the Kawasaki ATJ 45 S engine operates with a oil-fuel mixture.

Transmission shaft and controls

The ATJ 53 W brush cutter is equipped with an ergonomic handlebar with adjustable tilt, simply turn the knob to loosen the grip of the handlebar shaft and then you can adjust the tilt back to the best angle for the operator.

The brush cutter consists of 28 mm transmission tube with steel straight shaft and grease lubricated bevel gear.

The handlebar is asymmetrical, with the left arm in a long, wide position, while the right arm, the one with the control knob, is very narrow and closer to the pole. This configuration allows the operator to maintain a correct position of the arms, not off-centre towards the brush cutter, working in total comfort even for several work sessions.
