• Use the pruner exclusively for cutting wood: avoid contact between the chain and foreign materials such as metal, plastic, stones or concrete, which can damage the cutting unit and compromise the machine’s operation.
• Check the condition of the chain before use: ensure the assembly is correct, check the direction of the teeth and the chain tension. Proper adjustment ensures more precise cuts and reduces wear on the guide bar and chain.
• Keep the chain in good condition: proper sharpening allows you to work more efficiently, minimising vibrations and strain on the motor. Lubrication must also always be adequate to prevent overheating and premature wear.
• Avoid cutting wood containing foreign materials: the presence of soil, sand, nails or other objects can quickly compromise the efficiency of the cutting teeth and damage the machine.
• Use only compatible accessories: for battery-powered models, use the batteries and battery chargers specified by the manufacturer, avoiding unsuitable components that could cause malfunctions.
• Do not use the machine for purposes other than those intended: adhere to the model’s operating limits and avoid tasks that are too demanding or prolonged in relation to its specifications.
• Clean the machine after each use: remove sawdust and dirt from the guide bar, the chain and the machine body to maintain the efficiency of the components.
