Worx Landroid Cloud Robot Lawn Mower 4WD

The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR340E robot lawn mower is an automatic lawn mowing system designed for surfaces up to approximately 600 m², equipped with satellite navigation and four-wheel drive. It uses a combination of Vision AI, RTK Cloud technology and V-SLAM system to move with precision even in complex gardens or areas with obstacles.

The Worx Landroid Vision Cloud WR340E robotic lawn mower is typically used for maintaining residential gardens with steep slopes, narrow passages or uneven surfaces. Its compact structure with four-wheel drive allows it to operate even on uneven terrain while maintaining stability and constant traction.

The Worx lawn mower is designed for users looking for an autonomous cutting system with simplified installation. The lawn is mapped using Vision AI, without the need for a perimeter wire.

The system combines RTK Cloud satellite positioning and visual recognition. The robot creates a map of the garden, calculates cutting paths and automatically updates its position while working. It is managed via a dedicated app with multi-zone programming and management.

Key technical features include:

  • 4WD all-wheel drive: traction system designed for challenging terrain. It allows the robot to tackle slopes of up to 84% (40°) while maintaining stability during cutting.
  • Adaptive two-axle chassis: articulated structure that keeps all wheels in constant contact with the ground. This configuration allows the robot to work even on uneven surfaces or areas with small height differences.
  • Front steering system: the front wheels allow for controlled turns. The robot changes direction without jerking or skidding, which could damage the turf.
  • Vision AI + V-SLAM navigation: the system combines visual recognition and simultaneous localisation for precise orientation even in shaded areas or areas with reduced satellite coverage.
  • RTK Cloud positioning: centimetre-precision satellite correction technology. No base station is required in the garden and the correction data comes directly from the cloud via the charging station.
  • Electronic cutting height adjustment: you can adjust cutting height via app with values between 20 and 70 mm. Allows you to adapt the robot's work to seasonal lawn conditions.
  • Worx PowerShare 20V 4.0Ah Worx battery: power supply compatible with the entire Worx cordless tool system. The battery is removable and interchangeable with other devices on the same platform.

Worx Landroid Vision: Control and Communicate with Your Robot

Thanks to the Worx app for Landroid Vision you can control and programme your robotic lawn mower easily and intuitively via your smartphone.

One of the main features of the Worx app for Landroid Vision is the ability to programme your robot automatically. You can set the desired mowing times, the days of the week when the robot should operate, manage multiple areas and adjust the cutting height.

The app will provide you with real-time information on the status of your robot lawn mower. You can monitor mowing progress, battery life, any error notifications, or set up no-go zones.

Firmware updates (via USB/OTA): Worx periodically releases firmware updates to improve the robot's performance and introduce new features.

Using the app, you can manually map your garden, using your phone as a joystick.

The cutting system can also be adjusted from the app. The robot has two modes:

  • random cutting
  • systematic cutting

Vision AI & VSLAM

The robot lawn mower incorporates an advanced visual detection system based on a 3D stereo camera system.
This component uses artificial intelligence to ensure autonomous navigation even in the presence of moving or fixed obstacles.
The system uses Vision AI technology, designed to analyse the surrounding environment in real time and avoid collisions during mowing.

The camera can:

  • Identify objects, trees and obstacles on the lawn without limitations
  • Distinguish between fixed and temporary elements
  • Communicate with internal electronics to deviate from the path when necessary

Thanks to intelligent obstacle detection, the robot identifies everything that is not grass or leaves, avoiding collisions or sudden stops.

The AI is able to detect changes in the seasons, tackling even autumn with confidence.

The system can detect grass even when it is bordered by stones, such as along paved paths, enabling it to trim the grass growing between the slabs.

The camera also works with VSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping), which allows the robot to visually locate itself in relation to its real-world surroundings.

Vision AI and VSLAM technologies allow the robot to create a 3D map of the garden for automatic mapping of the cutting area.

RTK Cloud System

The RTK navigation system is an advanced technology that significantly improves the satellite positioning accuracy of the robot lawn mower, raising the level of accuracy.
This system is based on the simultaneous use of signals from a fixed reference station and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) satellites, ensuring excellent reliability even in difficult signal conditions.

The RTK system allows centimetre-level mapping of the working area and accurate positioning during mowing. This improves multi-zone management and ensures uniform and optimised coverage of the lawn.

Thanks to the Worx Cloud system, no antenna installation is required.

The robot lawn mower uses the Kress RTK signal.

If the satellite signal is weak, the robot does not stop, using other technologies to detect its surroundings, namely cameras and V-SLAM.

Vision Cloud technology ensures reliable navigation even in areas of the garden where the RTK signal may be less accurate, such as near trees, buildings or dense hedges. The system uses visual references stored in the environment, motion sensors and wheel encoders to accurately estimate the robot's position.

Thanks to sensor fusion between RTK, stereo vision and inertial sensors, the lawn mower maintains a stable and precise trajectory, avoiding drift errors and ensuring a uniform cut across the entire lawn, even when the satellite signal is not optimal.

Installation

You will receive your robot at home and you can start it up yourself: even first-time users can start using Landroid Vision by following the clear and convenient instructions in the included manual or by watching the easy online video tutorial directly from a smartphone or tablet.

App connection: To take full advantage of the Worx Landroid Vision's features, you will need to connect it to the dedicated Worx Landroid app on your smartphone.

Once the charging base (equipped with a charger) has been assembled, simply place the robot lawn mower on the lawn.

The charging station does not necessarily have to be positioned within the cutting area, but can be installed outside it, in a sheltered area.

By placing the charging base inside the cutting area, automatic mapping is possible. Otherwise, the working area must be mapped manually using the Worx Landroid application.

Please ensure that the charging base is place in a location with sufficient Wi-Fi coverage.

The robot uses a 20 V, 4 Ah battery compatible with the Worx PowerShare system.

It is obedient: it works when you want it to and does not run away from home. Thanks to an extremely intuitive interface, the robot is easily programmable for working hours and days.

It is sustainable: it helps nourish the soil and reduces the need for water. Thanks to the mulching cutting system, the grass clippings will be reduced to tiny pieces that will be invisible and will nourish and fertilise the soil.

It is safe: it stops when lifted. When lifted, the robot locks the blades for completely safe use.

It is independent: it works without your help and recharges itself. When the battery is about to run out, the robot will return to its charging station completely autonomously.

It is weather-aware: Landroid Vision is 100% weatherproof and is happy to stay outdoors. However, cutting wet grass is not ideal for achieving a perfect lawn finish. For this reason, thanks to special sensors, the robot can detect rain and return to its charging station. It has an IPX 6 protective rating (protected against water jets) and can be easily cleaned with a garden hose.

It is powerful and can handle slopes. Landroid Vision can tackle slopes with an incline of up to 84% (40°), thanks to the four-wheel drive.
The articulated chassis
, with independent front and rear axles, helps the robot adapt to the shape of the terrain, including bumps and edges, while the cutting deck remains stable. The robot can climb raised edges of up to 6 cm, which is also ideal when moving from one area to another.
The front wheels ensure smooth turns without stressing the lawn.
