WOLF Garten VA 389 B scarifier is best suited to work on small areas and is intended for hobby uses. It is powered by a Briggs&Stratton engine Series 750 OHV (engine size: 163 cc).

The 16 fixed blades guarantee reliability and sturdiness resulting in a 37 cm working width.

This machine consists of a rotor with springs. You can easily remove it by means of its patented quick release system.

Aeration must be performed STRICTLY with the garden previously and abundantly watered.

* The right time for the aeration process is Spring, after the first mowing and depending on the area and climate (generally around March/April). In order to keep the lawn at its best, it is advisable to repeat the treatment in autumn as well, thus removing the harder moss.

Dual function rotor

This scarifier can mount two types of rotors which are easily interchangeable.

Rotor with springs: It is intended for “aerating” the lawn and it consists of a rubber drum with 16 springs.

This rotor gently rakes the sward thanks to its steel springs that scratch and pull-out thatch and moss (preventing they can grow again).

Rotor with blades: It is intended for “scarifying”. It consists of a steel drum with 16 fixed blades.

This rotor allows a more intensive operation for your lawn because it gets deep into the lawn. Therefore, its 16 sharp blades gets vertical into the sward removing moss, thatch and weeds.
In this way you will regenerate your lawn increasing oxygenation, watering effectiveness and allowing fertilizers to penetrate the soil.

* Spring is the best season for scarifying your lawn. Choose the most suitable month (generally around March and April) according to the area and the weather conditions. For the best results, we suggest scarifying your lawn also in autumn in order to cut out the hardest moss.

Central height adjustment

Central height adjustment makes this machine easy and immediate to use.

The lever on the handlebar can lift the blades quickly. It is placed on the handlebar and it makes the machine easy to adjust and use.

This feature prevents possible damages to the blades and allows transporting the machine safely for storage.

Its 20 cm wheels are mounted on ball-bearings for ease of transport.

Dual working methods

The machine is provided with a roomy collection bag (50 litres) on standard equipment.

Choose if work without rear collection bag by using the dedicated deflector that presses the grass debris on the ground.
