The Vesco X37 AF is a battery-powered pruning pole designed for pruning at height, suitable for cutting branches up to 37 mm in diameter. It features a telescopic pole and cordless power supply, with a configuration where the motor unit is separated from the cutting head—a solution that has a significant impact on operational performance.
The weight distribution, with the motor and battery positioned at the base of the pole, reduces the load on the upper section and allows for more controlled movements when working on fruit or ornamental trees. This tool is suitable for semi-professional use, where continuous operation and precision are required even on branches of medium diameter.
Operation is based on a 450 W brushless motor, which transmits movement to the cutting head via a system inside the pole. The moving blade works against the counter-blade with a progressive cut, allowing the closing action to be adjusted according to the branch diameter. The two opening modes allow for optimised cutting times on thinner branches, while on thicker sections they ensure a more controlled and clean cut.
Key technical features:
-
450 W brushless motor: constant power delivery and reduced mechanical losses
-
Cutting capacity up to 37 mm: suitable for routine pruning of orchards and trees
-
Progressive cutting system with dual opening: greater control over different types of branch
-
Aluminium construction: die-cast housing and anodised aluminium pole for strength and lightness
-
Balance with motor at the bottom: reduced fatigue and improved precision when cutting at height
-
Weight of 2.65 kg (without battery): facilitates prolonged use
The lighter head improves precision and stability when cutting at height, but requires care when managing the pole in confined spaces. The cutting capacity remains limited to branches of medium diameter, making it less suitable for large sections of wood.
