1- COLLECTION IN THE BASKET (standard):

The grass is directly collected in the large grass catcher with a capacity of no less than 240 litres.

The basket is made of reinforced fabric and has a very robust plastic top, and can be emptied at any time and wherever you want, thanks to a convenient integrated lever that can be reached from the driver's seat.

2- Mulching (for free):

This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and shortening the time taken to mow) and, moreover, as it decomposes, it is subsequently transformed into nutrients for the lawn itself and into water, this ensuring a perfectly balanced biological cycle.

Thanks to the new hydrostatic 2-pedal gearbox, driving the tractor will be easy and intuitive. Everything can be controlled simply with your right foot resting on the pedal.

The operation is very simple: all you have to do to move forward us push the pedal with your toe. The riding-on mower will move forward according to the pressure on the pedal. Simply push the other end of the pedal with your heel for moving in reverse.

As soon as the pedal is released, the machine stops and allows safe operation.

Robust gears make the gearbox difficult to break. The hydrostatic transmission is by far the most modern and functional (although more expensive) compared to standard manual transmission gears. The latter model, whenever it is necessary to adjust the speed, obliges the Operator to stop, change gear (because in all the riding-on mowers with a manual or mechanical gearbox the gear change takes place when the machine is stationary), leaving the clutch and then restart at the desired speed. In case of frequent speed variations (e.g. in gardens with trees, vases or other types of obstacles) the standard gear transmission wouldn’t be practical at all. The hydrostatic transmission, on the other hand, allows immediate speed changes, without ever stopping, in a totally automatic way, simply by varying the pressure on the accelerator pedal.

The Stiga Estate 384 riding-on mower is equipped with a double blade cutting deck.

The deck of the lawn tractor is pivoting: it easily adapts to undulating terrain (as long as it is not excessively rough). Furthermore, this model features a large protection which entirely surrounds the cutting deck.

The electromagnetic blade engagement is operated via the button on the right side of the steering wheel. This system avoids the manual engagement by means of the standard lever which many models of riding-on mowers are equipped with and works thanks to an electromagnetic clutch that allows easy and quick engagement of the blades.

There are 7 cutting positions available and they are adjustable via a lever. They can be varied from a maximum of 80 mm to a minimum of 25 mm.

The cutting deck is equipped with 2 anti-scalp wheels and a double washing connection for both the right and left side of the deck.
