The STIGA A 5000 battery-powered robotic lawn mower offers a highly automated solution for maintaining large grassy areas.
Unlike traditional automatic mowers that require the installation of perimeter cables, this model operates without a physical setup thanks to the virtual boundary of the working area, configurable via the STIGA.GO app.
You can divide the garden into up to 10 distinct cutting zones, each customizable for intervention times, cutting height, and operational priority.

The guidance system is based on the patented RTK AGS (Active Guidance System) by STIGA, capable of accurately predicting GPS signal quality and optimizing work paths. The integrated 4G connectivity allows the robot to constantly communicate with the STIGA Cloud, receive remote updates, and keep operational data synchronized. The entire system is manageable via smartphone, with support for voice commands via Amazon Alexa.

Designed to work on areas up to 7000 m² (5000 m² recommended), the robot can effectively operate even on slopes up to 50%, adapting to contexts with significant elevation changes. The mulching cutting system consists of 6 pivoting blades mounted on a central disc, finely chopping the grass and returning it to the soil. The cutting width is 26 cm, while the height can be electronically adjusted between 20 and 65 mm. The blades rotate at a constant speed of 2400 rpm, ensuring precision and efficiency.

The STIGA A 5000 robotic lawn mower is powered by two 5 Ah – 25.2 V lithium-ion batteries, doubling its energy capacity compared to other models in the same range. It features a brushless motor and a fully automatic charging system.
The weight of 13.4 kg and compact structure (695 x 526 x 300 mm) facilitate positioning and potential manual movement.

This model is equipped with an innovative system patented by Stiga, called Active Guidance System (AGS).
This system allows the robot to store important information such as satellite trajectories, signal strength, and points where the signal is disturbed, for every moment of the day. Consequently, the robot updates the map daily, avoiding areas with weak signals just when needed. This helps the robot work more efficiently and prevents potential blockages caused by lack of signal.

It can autonomously manage cutting sessions and create a virtual map of the garden while working, knowing exactly where to start cutting.

There is no perimeter cable, so you can modify the virtual perimeter of your STIGA A 5000 with a simple touch. You can also manage other robot functions, such as excluding specific areas from cutting cycles and setting times when the robot should not cut, even in certain zones only.

To use the GPS RTK technology, the robot needs a continuous connection with its reference station. This connection is guaranteed by 4G data traffic and constant communication between the lawn mower robot, STIGA Cloud, and the reference station. The reference station is included with the purchase of the robot.

At least one provider is assured to provide the necessary support for the autonomous robotic lawn mower to operate efficiently. Depending on the country, different operators will be available for reliance.

Data security is a priority: the STIGA Cloud servers, located in Europe, adhere to strict data protection regulations.
STIGA guarantees the compatibility and effective operation of the robot in numerous European countries, although functionality may depend on various factors such as service provider, GPS and 4G coverage, and garden configuration. It is recommended to consult the retailer before installation.

The beating heart of the A 5000 robot is the E-Power Stiga battery.

This battery is made up of premium lithium-ion cells, containing a chemistry designed to increase reliability and longevity.

Tested in all conditions, the battery will still perform at its best even after 600 recharges, comparable to two recharges a week, over a span of six years.

The product that will arrive at your home will be easy to start, and even the least experienced user can begin to take advantage of the A 5000 robot, also following the included instruction booklet.

The installation is completely virtual.
The working perimeter can be set via the STIGA.GO app and is updatable at any time.

Once the charging base (equipped with a charger) is installed, the robot will be ready to go as it does not require a perimeter wire.

The charging base must be positioned in a place with a clear view of at least 120°. If the view is limited, the antenna can be extracted from the charging base and positioned at a height with a clear view of the sky.

The supplied cable is 5 meters long. However, STIGA makes a 15-metre cable available for more complicated situations.

Extension cables can be used for various purposes:

The mulching cut: 6 pivoting steel blades finely chop the grass, leaving it on the ground.
This decomposes and becomes a nutrient element for the lawn itself, creating a completely natural cycle. With this cutting method, the grass does not need to be collected.

It is possible to set up to 10 different cutting zones in the garden. However, it is advisable to schedule only 2 daily cutting sessions.
