The Briggs & Stratton 8270 PXi V-Twin engine is high-performing, suitable for jobs which require high working power.

1- GRASS COLLECTION SYSTEM (on standard equipment):

Brand new capacious grass collection basket, with a capacity of no less than 380 L , among the largest in its class.

Easy grass collector emptying system: done through a very effective system, by levering the removable handle. Thus, it will be possible to empty the grass collector at any time while working, without any effort.

The grass collector is easy removable at any time: simply lift it upwards to remove it from its bridge-type housing through the two handles on top of the basket.

2- MULCHING CUTTING SYSTEM (on standard equipment):

This grass mowing system allows crushing grass clippings and dropping them on the ground. The resulting grass particles are so small, they will be barely noticeable on the lawn. This eliminates the problem of its disposal (reducing any effort and time-saving). Moreover, grass clippings will break down into nutrients and water for the lawn (grass is 80% water) and will thus ensure a perfectly balanced biological cycle. However, it is worth remembering that, to ensure the greatest mulching results, the lawn should be irrigated and the grass needs cutting at least once a week. Converting the machine from a cutting system to the other one is very easy.

Conversion: remove the grass collector and enter the mulching plug in the central opening.

Thanks to the new 2-pedal Tuff Torq K62 hydrostatic gearbox, riding the mower tractor will be easy and intuitive. Everything can be easily controlled with your right foot resting on the pedal.

Can reach speeds of up to 9 km/h and 5 km/h in reverse gear

The sturdy gears make the gearbox difficult to break. The hydrostatic transmission is by far the most modern and functional (although more expensive) compared to standard manual transmission gears. The latter model, whenever it is necessary to adjust the speed, obliges the operator to stop, change gear (because in all the riding-on mowers with a manual or mechanical gearbox, the gear change takes place when the machine is stationary), leaving the clutch and then restart at the desired speed. In case of frequent speed variations (e.g. in gardens with trees, vases or other types of obstacles) the standard gear transmission wouldn’t be practical at all. The hydrostatic transmission, on the other hand, allows immediate speed changes, without ever stopping, in absolute convenience, in a totally automatic way, simply by varying the pressure on the accelerator pedal.

The pressed steel cutting deck is equipped with 2 finned blades that create a powerful airflow necessary to collect the grass in all conditions.
The asymmetric cutting deck has an optimal cutting overlap avoiding the need to keep the blades synchronised.

This model features a large protection which completely envelops the cutting deck.

The electromagnetic blade engagement is operated via the button on the right side of the steering wheel. This system avoids the manual engagement by means of the standard lever which many models of riding-on mowers are equipped with and works thanks to an electromagnetic clutch that allows easy and quick engagement of the blades.

The cutting deck height can be adjusted through a lever.

There are 7 different cutting height available, that can be ranged from a maximum of 95 mm to a minimum of 25 mm.

The controls are very simple and allow the tractor to be managed at its best. The dashboard houses a LED screen, 2 USB ports, RMO switch, parking brake, cruise control, automatic mower shut-off, throttle lever and handy phone pocket.

For maximum safety there is also a reverse mowing consent switch, if it is not activated, the tractor shuts down.

The ride-on lawn mower is designed and intended exclusively for cutting grass in gardens and parks (and not on other types of terrain). The working surface must be level, free of irregularities, stones, or other solid objects, and covered with maintained lawn grass (not uncultivated or spontaneous vegetation). Grass should be cut regularly and must not be allowed to grow beyond 25–30 cm, as most ride-on mowers are no longer capable of cutting at this height. Slopes exceeding 15% (equivalent to 9°) must be avoided, except when using 4x4 models.

For heavier-duty tasks, involving spontaneous vegetation, grass taller than the above-mentioned limits, or rougher surfaces than a garden, please consider alternative product categories such as Petrol Flail Mowers or Ride-On Flail Lawn, which are suitable for tall and uncultivated grass.

Grass must only be cut when both the lawn and the underlying soil are completely dry. Mowing operations should be carried out exclusively in dry weather, well away from periods of rain or irrigation, and preferably in the afternoon, when the grass is no longer affected by morning humidity. Wet grass tends to bend under the blades, reducing cutting efficiency, increasing the risk of clogging inside the deck, and subjecting both the engine and the transmission belt to excessive strain, which may result in damage.
