The Seven Italy tractor-mounted mist blower is an agricultural machine designed for spraying liquid plant protection products on tree crops such as vineyards, orchards and plantations with dense foliage. The equipment is attached to the tractor via a three-point hitch, a solution that allows it to be lifted using the rear lift and transported directly to the cultivated area.

The operating system involves mixing the product with water inside the tank, from which the liquid is sent to the spray nozzles. The machine uses a 700 mm diameter axial fan that produces a high-flow circular air stream, the jet directs the atomised droplets towards the vegetation, facilitating the penetration of the treatment even into the inner parts of the canopy.

The spray nozzles transform the liquid into a very fine mist. The airflow generated by the fan carries the particles onto the vegetation, ensuring uniform coverage on leaves and branches. This configuration is suitable for periodic crop protection treatments.

The machine is equipped with a 600-litre tank, a capacity that allows for extended working cycles without frequent refilling. This volume is suitable for treating medium to large surfaces during the application of liquid fungicides, insecticides and herbicides.

The supporting structure utilises a hot-dip galvanised Swedish Steel frame. This treatment protects the steel from oxidation caused by moisture, fertilisers and chemical residues, thereby extending the structure’s lifespan.

The Comet APS 71 pump is a piston diaphragm pump designed for use in spraying applications in agriculture and gardening. Constructed from high-quality materials, ensuring high resistance to corrosion and high pressures.

Parts in contact with the liquid are made of anodised aluminium. The valve seat and disc are made of stainless steel.

It is equipped with an automatic lubrication system that reduces wear and provides extension of the pump’s service life.

The two side valves supply the right and left sectors of the fan respectively. Generally, the two horizontal outlets are used to connect, for example, a pair of spray guns for orchards/olive groves, or stainless steel booms for vineyards, etc…

This means that the two sectors can also be activated separately, for example, activating only the jets on the right-hand side or only on the left-hand side (for example, when working at the boundary of one’s plot).
